Don't you just love football season? This is my first post of the year. First off I just want to congratulate the Vikings on their awesome effort they are putting forth this season! The guys looked great in their first 2 games and did as well as could be expected last Friday night at USJ! This team has some great players and very intelligent coaches, not to mention great support from the sidelines by the cheerleaders and from the stands! I want to wish the guys luck Friday night against Gleason. I'm sure we can pull this one out as long as the guys don't over look what they are facing in Gleason. Play smart guys and look for a big win from PC! GO VIKINGS! ! !

I just want to wish Perry County lots of luck! This will be an awesome game to watch. I think PC can win it all if they will stayed focused and play hard and smart on both sides of the ball. Good luck guys, we're all behind you! Go Vikings! ! !

I am looking forward to this amazing matchup. . .like alot of you, I can't believe the top 2 teams have to meet in the first round, they really should come up with a new bracketing system, but you can't dwell on that. To win a championship you must win three times not just one, right? I think Perry County will pull this one out in a tight match. The whole county is hungry for another gold ball, and I think this is a team that can bring it home. Good luck guys, I'll be there front and center (well, front and sideline) cheering you on! ! Way to go perry county! it was a great game like all 4 games between these two teams all year! congrats to the vikings, ya'll played an awesome game, way to go chase! good luck to both teams in the substate games. . .hope to see ya'll both at the 'boro! especially pc. . .i'm sure the pchs gym will be a packed house on monday night! I think that the championship game will be a rematch between Summertown and Perry County. I doubt that Forest will be able to win over the Vikings. Good luck to everybody, especially PC! Go Vikings!

I just want to say congratulations to the lady vikings! ya'll have played great throughout the entire season! ya'll put up a hard fight against wayne county, and i wish pchater and whoever else hates pc would open up their eyes and get a grip. whoever u are pchater, u were prolly one of those cool wayne county guys sitting down there next to our cheerleaders who had nothing better to do then to harass them. anyways, back to the point of the post, Good luck to the lady vikings in eagleville, let's show wayne county what it's all about at the regionals! I think in single A it should be Holly Turnbow, she has had an outstanding 4 years at Perry County and led the girls to 2nd place in the district, a place well deserved and where they haven't been in a long time. Holly scored 22 of the total 44 points against Wayne County in the district championship game. Good luck Holly and the rest of the Lady Vikings at Eagleville next week! Congrats to the whole team, ya'll are always #1 in my book! way to go chase, u definately deserved MVP, and congrats to Coach Haskins on Coach of the Year! don't beat urselves down over one loss guys, just get out there and play harder in regionals. ya'll have had a great season, now lets get to state! i'll be down there cheering u guys on with the rest of perry county! no one needs to say anything about perry county cheating with refs. pc of all places has been cheated through the years. ya'll have been saying stuff about pc's coach being out on the floor? ? at least he didn't get in the ref's faces at half court to complain. . .at least he keeps the complaints to himself. the shot was definatly only worth 2 points. i had a perfect view of it myself. sorry wchs, we can't help it an awesome single A team beat you in your house and again in ours. pc will go far this year, without any help from ref's which we have never gotten at anytime in any season. unless you are from pc you have no idea wat it is like to be cheated and hated by refs, fans, players and cheerleaders of opposing teams. the game is history, it was a great game to see, anybody who wasn't there missed a great game by both teams, the waverly guys fought hard and didn't give up, but they were just beaten out by a better perry county team! Go Vikings!

a team that everyone is forgetting about is Perry County. These girls are the best they have been in many years. pc is 9-1 the only loss to wayne county. they play summertown tonight. everyone seems to think perry county is only a county for good boys ball, but i think the girls from pc are going to surprise a few this year with holly turnbow to lead the team, serveral great seniors, and serveral great freshmen, if they don't make it this year, watch out for them in a few years to come with some freshmen who are playing outstanding this year. In my opinion, although i'm a little biased, the lady vikings are #1! ! GO LADY VIKS! !
