Don't you just love football season? This is my first post of the year. First off I just want to congratulate the Vikings on their awesome effort they are putting forth this season! The guys looked great in their first 2 games and did as well as could be expected last Friday night at USJ! This team has some great players and very intelligent coaches, not to mention great support from the sidelines by the cheerleaders and from the stands! I want to wish the guys luck Friday night against Gleason. I'm sure we can pull this one out as long as the guys don't over look what they are facing in Gleason. Play smart guys and look for a big win from PC! GO VIKINGS! ! !

I just want to wish Perry County lots of luck! This will be an awesome game to watch. I think PC can win it all if they will stayed focused and play hard and smart on both sides of the ball. Good luck guys, we're all behind you! Go Vikings! ! !

I am looking forward to this amazing matchup. . .like alot of you, I can't believe the top 2 teams have to meet in the first round, they really should come up with a new bracketing system, but you can't dwell on that. To win a championship you must win three times not just one, right? I think Perry County will pull this one out in a tight match. The whole county is hungry for another gold ball, and I think this is a team that can bring it home. Good luck guys, I'll be there front and center (well, front and sideline) cheering you on! ! Way to go perry county! it was a great game like all 4 games between these two teams all year! congrats to the vikings, ya'll played an awesome game, way to go chase! good luck to both teams in the substate games. . .hope to see ya'll both at the 'boro! especially pc. . .i'm sure the pchs gym will be a packed house on monday night! I think that the championship game will be a rematch between Summertown and Perry County. I doubt that Forest will be able to win over the Vikings. Good luck to everybody, especially PC! Go Vikings!

I just want to say congratulations to the lady vikings! ya'll have played great throughout the entire season! ya'll put up a hard fight against wayne county, and i wish pchater and whoever else hates pc would open up their eyes and get a grip. whoever u are pchater, u were prolly one of those cool wayne county guys sitting down there next to our cheerleaders who had nothing better to do then to harass them. anyways, back to the point of the post, Good luck to the lady vikings in eagleville, let's show wayne county what it's all about at the regionals! I think in single A it should be Holly Turnbow, she has had an outstanding 4 years at Perry County and led the girls to 2nd place in the district, a place well deserved and where they haven't been in a long time. Holly scored 22 of the total 44 points against Wayne County in the district championship game. Good luck Holly and the rest of the Lady Vikings at Eagleville next week! no one needs to say anything about perry county cheating with refs. pc of all places has been cheated through the years. ya'll have been saying stuff about pc's coach being out on the floor? ? at least he didn't get in the ref's faces at half court to complain. . .at least he keeps the complaints to himself. the shot was definatly only worth 2 points. i had a perfect view of it myself. sorry wchs, we can't help it an awesome single A team beat you in your house and again in ours. pc will go far this year, without any help from ref's which we have never gotten at anytime in any season. unless you are from pc you have no idea wat it is like to be cheated and hated by refs, fans, players and cheerleaders of opposing teams. the game is history, it was a great game to see, anybody who wasn't there missed a great game by both teams, the waverly guys fought hard and didn't give up, but they were just beaten out by a better perry county team! Go Vikings!

a team that everyone is forgetting about is Perry County. These girls are the best they have been in many years. pc is 9-1 the only loss to wayne county. they play summertown tonight. everyone seems to think perry county is only a county for good boys ball, but i think the girls from pc are going to surprise a few this year with holly turnbow to lead the team, serveral great seniors, and serveral great freshmen, if they don't make it this year, watch out for them in a few years to come with some freshmen who are playing outstanding this year. In my opinion, although i'm a little biased, the lady vikings are #1! ! GO LADY VIKS! !

Just had to put up a little reply on gameday to all ya'll CAT fans. Looks like ya'll are all good and ready for this game, but all cheering aside, what it's all gonna come down to is who has the talent. Ya'll may be loud from the stands whoever all ya'll are, but we're loud from the court. Our guys are ready to come over for a visit to the 'boro and are ready to play. Look our Cats, here come the VIKINGS! ! Let's go PC! ! ! !

Why in the world do u even have Scotts Hill ranked. No offense to these girls, but Perry County beat them twice and Wayne County stomped them. And if you're going to put the in the top ten and they've already been beaten by PC twice in scrimmages, then that team should at least be a few steps ahead of them.

Just wondering what ya'll had to say about this game. I personally think Perry County girls are going to surprise a few this year. in a county known mostly for guys basketball, the girls don't get alot of the respect they deserve. I think p.c. is going to have a great year, and they've already started it off right with a win over waverly. With Holly Turnbow to lead the team, and Leigha Horner, Britany Jones, Susan Wooten and Casey Heath to help her out, plus a few new freshmen who are really steping up, Paige Rhodes, Alicia Weatherly, Kristal Edney. I think these girls have the potential to go far this year! so what are everyone's thoughts on their upcoming trip to wayne county? Go Lady Vikings!

first i want to say Go Vikings. i agree, w.c. has a few good players, but p.c. has got more than a few. i think richardson and gray will be unstopable as usual, and watch out for the rest of the starting five. plus a few new sophomores coming off the bench. i think coach haskins will have his team in top form and ready to play. look for a good game, but i'm positive p.c. will come out on top for this one! i don't know y i'm not just giving up, ppl are never going to realize that cheerleaders are more than short skirts, ditzy and blonde ppl who just want to be popular. i encourage all of ya'll to go to just one cheerleading competition and really see what this sport is all about!

Zion is now in 12A starting this season. No one has put them into their rankings. I haven't even heard anything about them, anybody got the scoop on Zion?

Congratulations to Perry Co. High Senior point guard Holly Turnbow! ! ! I think that Ms. Turnbow is very deserving of the Wendy's High School Heisman. Not only is she an outstanding player, but also conducts herself as a true young lady on and off the court. I myself admire Holly and have for many years. She is active in her school through academics and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Holly serves as a true example of what a Senior Leader should be. She is polite and friendly to everyone in our school and there is no one who deserves this award more! Good luck Holly and all the other nominees.

well. . .just to let you all know, I have been cheerleading for 6 years now. I have never had anything below an A on my report card. I just got inducted in to BETA Club. I am President of my class, Captain of our FCA, number 3 in my class, and guess what, quiz bowl guy, i was in quiz bowl in middle school, and i would be in high school, but our school doesn't have a team, so don't even go there. O yeah, one more thing, i can throw a spiral 60 yards.

starting 5 are brett jackson (jr.), zack garrison (jr.), chase richardson (sr.), drew rhodes (sr.), and jonathan gray (sr.). we only lost one starter last year, cody warren. also some talent on the bench with a few sophomores that i think will surprise a few peeps. ur right, we have a jamboree this sat at parsons [Edited by pcchick4life on 11-20-02 7:37P]
