The competition for the Mustangs has been a little bit better, however. As far as the fastball goes...good luck hitting it or his strikeout pitch. Don't get on here trying to intimidate, because if you do, Loretto fans and players will have the last laugh at the game with that music that gets in your head so bad, you fling bats against the dugout when you sit down after you get struck out. Should be a great game, let's ENJOY IT!!!

Loretto Wins 1-0. I wasn't at the game, but there was a controversial balk call that was reversed. All right Giles fans, and players: let the whining begin!!!!!!!!!!!

I only know Loretto plays Page at Loretto today at 6 PM in second round action.

As 14loretto was saying, if you stand on the plate, expect to be hit. Tournament time means runs mean more than ever in a district game. You cannot blame the Loretto player for what he did. By the way, no our coach doesn't teach players to take out the catcher. Our coach is one of the best coaches ever, and it's a split-second decision the player must make. I hope the player is ok, but if the only excuse you have for losing that game is one of our players taking out a catcher that was standing on the plate, that's pretty sad.

I think Cross because she stepped up when she had to, and helped her teammates down the stretch. Bagsby had a good game, don't get me wrong, but she didnt do that good on her free throws (you gotta have those). that "some newspaper" was The Tennessean: a state wide newspaper. I believe those comments was a big part of Page losing that game because the intensity coming from Loretto on that floor was some of the best intensity I personally have seen all year. Also, it ALMOST backfired. These girls play their best basketball when they're mad. That's all there is to it...that simple. You can take that however you wish.

Everybody seems to be picking Cheatham and Harpeth to finish champs and runner up, we will have to see if Loretto has what it takes to prove everybody wrong.

Yep, Page wins by a point. Page didn't play that well in my opinion, and for a long stretch of the game, Lewis gave Page everything they wanted. How do you expect to play with a team like Loretto if you can only beat Lewis County by 1 point? Good luck tomorrow to both teams and especially good luck to Loretto!!!!!!!

I'm sorry PageMan but how could you possibly say that after Bagsby's comments in "The Tennessean?" (which is posted in big letters in the dressing room). The only thing yall are pulling for is a district championship, so please don't say Page is pulling for us because yall's team is not.
