  1. I haven't seen any WH scrimmages this year. Did this Light qb's dad play back in the 70's for WH? I remember SJL playing back then.
  2. I hope Lipscombs lays the wood to Fulton. Go get'em Mustangs....
  3. Titans89, Do you know if there is a way to make these little happy faces roll across the screen? I doubt there's enough though to be as many as the split "personalities" on this board.. I fear PC is "fittin' to find out who "run it"...it's either Lipscomb or Fulton, and I don't know if Lipscomb can keep up with Fulton's speed, but I'd like to Middle TN come out with the Gold Ball, and they're the only ones who are up to it of the remainders. One more week and we shall know.
  4. Hey Titans is he STILL running his mouth? I can see your replies to him, but I hit IGNORE on him when I said I would. That would be a new concept to him. Actually doing what you say... Well I think this Friday will be intereting. We'll see how much ND has changed and we'll see how they've changed. I hate that we have to travel because it does cut down on the fanbase. I think when it's all said and done we, PC and Station Camp will still be standing on Saturday. But only IF we don't start like we did last Friday. GB was creeping into the box all night, and it really hurt that first half of play. The field was in good shape at the beginning but as time passed it got worse, making the ball slippery. I hear from a work friend that Grogan is in a splint, and their LB was hurt too. We only had one go down didn't we? Well we'll see how this pans out. I still seeing DL being in the mix at the end. Maybe against SC. Next year, a different song. It will be ALL us.
  5. Let it be known that BigCountry is a Sycamore graduate, that changed to rooting for Cheatham County. He has also changed his screenname three times because he keeps "booking" that he knows the winner of a game and when he is wrong (which is a lot), he tucks tail and changes his name. He will tell you that Sycamore is alot better than they really are. Don't look past them with trick plays, but the truth is even Cheatham is not very good and they only beat Cheatham and a Greenbrier team that had most of it's starters injured, both by 2. The other teams they beat are not even in the playoffs so that should tell you something. You can find all their stats by pulling up www.tennessean.com, go to sports, and then type in their name in the drop down. Click on each game "details" and that will give you stats. Someone said they'd never heard of Sycamore. There's a reason for that.
  6. All I can say is I don't understand some kids. Why vandalize and paint graffiti in a manner in which they think they are showing superiority, when all they iare showing is a classless act. This served no purpose, other than to belittle Greenbrier, but in turn all it did was belittle White House. Whether it is a football player, or just a student doing this to another school, they are putting a black "marK" on MY school. If these kids want to paint something, offer to paint a barn or a house, or maybe just clean your room. Kids talk, somebody else probably knows and will slip. I would not want to have that hanging over my head. MY apologies Greenbrier. But I can't speak for someone who would has not been raised to know better.
  7. SC didn't turn stupid since their last win against Sycamore. That first game teaches alot. But Sycamore doesn't need to look forward to Round 2. because Meigs will be more than Sycamore can hancle. Meigs will be a more equal match up to Station Camp.
  8. I think this will be more about power and big plays than coaching. Some Region 5 teams are good, but the only thing that will come out of Region 5 at the end is Lipscomb. I don't expect Cheatham to last past round 2, at most. JSS is always tough, and too much for Cheatham. Sorry, but Region 5 may be in the finals but it will be the same ole' team...Lipscomb will stand at the end. Besides coaches won't be on the field for any team. Who opposes Lipscomb.....? I think it will be a mid-TN showdown between the Mustangs and Station Camp. 2007 the Gold Ball will belong to White House.
  9. You know what you learn in business and with maturity? That when the odds are against you, the odds are against you. Yeah, we're region 4, but this game with Sycamore against Meigs is like David and Goliath. I can be all hype about our region or I can be realistic, and reality tells me that Sycamore best enjoy round 1. Seed #4 is that for a reason. You beat the other losing teams in the region, and a couple of the games you won were by only 2. Just like with ND beating us by 1 it's still a win but not a convincing enough win to say you're that much better. Sorry, WarEagles go do the homework, and read for yourself Meigs reviews. This isn't Dekalb and even though I could pretend, I think it's all uphill. Even gurus won't make this happen.
  10. You are right 89, I was there and I'm proud of the Blue boys, but we taped the game in case it started raining so much we had to leave and we didn't want to miss the game. This game belonged to Greenbrier for the first half. I'm not going to lie when I say that Greenbrier had some bad calls called against them. These could have made a difference because we came out with a win, but barely. I read the stats this morning and on paper it was pretty even. Being even with Notre Dame will not work in the playoffs. It was a good effort by the Payne Train, and Barrett, and the team, but we need some hard practice. Good game to Greenbrier, NoDoubt and all the guys over there. We know you're reloading and where the cross-hairs will be aimed come next season. Also: Would someone PLEASE give Cordell a White House history lesson? DEWEY WHITSON....CATCH up on some White House history, I don't care which county the field is in.
  11. Again, I don't know if White House will be stuck in this CSS game or not. Can CSS rearrange their scheduling, or will WH - GB agree to give that up to reschedule? It's not going to make a difference to Greenbrier, but it will to Macon and White House and who goes and who stays. But then, I think we already know the outcome of Macon and DeKalb. :justwrestle:
  12. Our game is televised tonight. Even though it's been raining since yesterday, I don't know if we can throw off CSS's broadcast schedule.
  13. Go check the Station Camp-PC thread that's been going on for about a week now to see the predictions. I say SC by 10.
  14. Is it feasible that the game could be postponed since there is TV coverage slots already allotted for tonight?
  15. Good. It's raining in White House. Washing down those stands. Just IN CASE, you left any itching powder on the Devils seats. Actually, I agree. Classy post. Outcome is a tossup.
  16. what a guru SC runs the show at home, PC. Firebirds go down in flames.
  17. You know, Titans, I don't really give him much thought, except when he throws a tantrum. I hate to see a grown man whine but if we could play "CoachT Survivor" we all know who would be voted off the Board cause the challenges are like an argument with my kids. But then, IF we did vote him off, he'd probably return incognito. How many times is this now?? Three? But he gives himself away with words like "idiot and moron" in replying to other people. And what's with all the unsolicited game analysis? (The only person we can be SURE he ain't is timbdp. ) And he thinks we can't see through his riling of the opposing team techniques like his beginning post on this thread about Greenbrier's motto. And he never seems to be able to decide on a vote because he switches sides all the time too. Reference switching from being for White House to being for Sycamore when he wasn't agreed with, and then again, switching from White House to Greenbrier. I guess this is just another way to say "I told you so" if you cover both angles, or maybe that's a safety method from having to change your screenname (AGAIN) when you "book it" and promise to leave the board if you are wrong. Being right sounds so much more knowlegeable, don't you know? But, oh well, Titans, I guess we won't get to play that game---cause he's IGNORING us.
  18. Pearl-Cohn at Station Camp Preview in Today's Nashville City Paper Everyone that's traveled TO Station Camp has lost. Station Camp's fanbase gets bigger each week, compared to a FEW Pearl Cohn fans. That 12th man can make a difference for SC. As for their score against SC last year, that's OLD news. Everyone beat Station Camp LAST year (except for one). I don't see Station Camp letting this game get away. Like the rest of us, if PC is thinking this is LAST years Bison team, they are wrong. They can't hold Toney, Bailey and the rest and also assume their QB won't get picked. We beat them and I think Station Camp will too.
  19. Maybe THAT'S what the finger was for...?? I agree. At this point, I really do hope this game CLASS on both sides of the field. We both have it no matter what others think. Both teams have struggled this year so we shouldn't be surprised at the outcome whatever it may be. I don't know about the Bobcats, but after Friday night, I will not assume anything.
  20. Well, I've been traveling all day. Had to make a run to Wisconsin. I got a whole truck load of cheese, Titans89, but darn, I see somebody else has already brought the WHINE.
  21. Lock it up, SC. Your team is better than PC by far. I read that their coach and team made a pact that they won't let another team score on them again this season. I just don't think they can keep that pact with SC's game on both sides of the ball. Good luck SC.
  22. And we all know what an effect your predictions make,BIGCountry. You were all for Sycamore when we played them--Sycamore lost. You were all for GB last night against Macon -- and they lost. So basically, you know about as much as my dog about how these games will turn out. Okay Guru, go ahead and predict the 3A state champ, lets give their opponent the gold ball and save ourselves from freezing our behinds off. Get a life and stop trying to be Murphy Fair. This game is about WH and GB--go talk up Sycamore and Cheatham County. Oh, yeah, and go ahead...reply with "Old Timer, Moron or Idiot" Those are the BIG words in your vocabulary. I can take whatever you got, and then some.
  23. We've all heard about the Bison all year and words on a post don't do justice to what we witnessed last night. They definitely shut my mouth. With that I have to remember that Greenbrier scored on SC. Aside from PC and SC Greenbrier's losses to Sycamore and Macon have been by only two. And with GB being the Region champs three straight, they wear a target, much like we do with the past ring. Lets go into this last week with some respect for each other and remember last year we had one each. Other than that...go Blue! This is it.
