  1. They've been winning and my friend, winning is all that matters!
  2. hahaha. That's a pretty good post. I am not going to get into the whole situation at 99.7, but I would like to say how cool 104.5 the zone is now. I thought the camera work was little bumpy myself.
  3. If we all should play ball together and not discrimate against those who give financial aid, then there should only be one classification. There should not be any discrimination based on enrollment numbers. I agree. I have been saying do away with classifications for the last three years. I think that stuff just serves to make winning easier. Life isn't divided up into easier to win classes, neither should football.
  4. Franklin by 6. Good luck, Flatt.
  5. Man, I had no idea anyone even considered fish bad luck...where did you guys get that from?!?!?!
  6. Actually, Del, the refs are independent contractors. Their associations assign them to a crew. As I said in one of the earlier posts, they need to send their best crews tothe biggest games.
  7. Don't limit them to the best public or private school. No doubt, they are the best team on any level...including the Titans. And nationwide, no high school could beat MBA...most junior colleges would fall to the BIG RED also. They are the best ever! You happy now? MBA showed that they were a very talented team on Friday and all of this year. But the best team in the state usually wouldnt lose a big game. Miami is one of the best teams in the nation...right? They just lost a big game...Losing one game doesn't take the "best team in the state" title away. If they lose again, then they lose the title. And, for goodness sake, I am not an MBA supporter.
  8. The score error in the Tennessean was probably just a typo.
  9. Ok, I will give the top public schools their due...OK, done. MBA is still the top football team in the state- public OR private.
  10. Haha. The fish was good. Come on folks, I know there are opinions about this subject!
  11. time to let this thread die in peace.

I guess when you lose the argument, you quit posting.
  13. Haha. I believe there were some earlier in the year- I know for sure when John Harlin ran for 401 yards.

What argument? You haven't made one yet. All you have done is the same stuff you criticized us about: surfing the website. You might want to try a little common sense.
  15. glasses only help people that read and do things like that- since you stick to purely sports, you probably don't need glasses.

Haha. Yeah, I guess so! You guys gotta beat UF for us!

You busted me- you would know how to spell it since you are now the only Intramurals in the SEC! J/K Buddy. GO VOLS!

dumptruck- I think both crowds were similar in size- I think there were somewhere around 30,000+ at that BGA game as well.

I do believe it...when it is time to study- I study. I think you are having a hard time trying to sound intelligent. Are you planning to go to college? Maybe you can major in intramurals.

That's true, I guess that shows where BA's focus has been over the last 34 years. My point is that prestige is all about academics and history of the school, not the fact that you happen to be successful in football.
  22. Bud, you finally said it like I was trying to say it.

9 State titles=meaningless in the grand scheme of things...if you are at BA now, you certainly didn't have a hand in getting any of those trophies- so enjoy basking in the warm glow of the others before you. Prestige = trophies - that might bethe dumbest thing that I have ever heard. I see where you stand on the Mind, Body, Spirit listed in your creed. You put body first. At BGA, and any other school, and probably at your school too, the academics are most important. Anyone with half a clue recognizes that. And we have won 6, by the way. 1960, 1966, 1995, 1997, 1998, 2001. As well as 2 basketball titles. BGA also holds the record for playing in front of the largest high school crowd EVER- I believe that was the 1960 Clinic Bowl.
  24. fair enough, but I am still not convinced. We will all just have to agree to disagree.
