  1. Tamar Butler from Riverdale is the best I've seen. He was all-state as a junior last year on Riverdale's defense who posted 8 shutouts.
  2. that's really not much of an accomplishment
  3. I was watching a UT movie the other day called Decade of Dominance. It said that the 1998 Florida game was the highest attendence of people to ever see a college football game. There were over 107,000 people there. Then in 2004 UT set a new record with over 109,000.
  4. You're probably right about that. They always get stuff given to them even when they're not that good.
  5. Maybe, but at least they're taking a big step in the right direction. The new AD is working his butt off for MTSU, and I commend him for what he's accomplished in the few months that he's been there. He's also gotten a deal with Reebok to produce all kinds of MTSU aparell, including authentic game jerseys.
  6. MTSU is supposed to have home games against the following over the next few years: Memphis Maryland Virginia Louisville (at Titans stadium) NC State working on getting Vandy
  7. If sold out, would this be the most in attendence to ever see a college football game?
  8. Hey, the only ranking that actually matters is after the season is over.
  9. Dang, I'm in 7th place. Of course I haven't payed hardly any attention to high school football this year. Oh well. Oakland Cookville Blackman LaVergne Siegel Riverdale Smyrna MBA Oak Ridge Gallatin
  10. Riverdale didn't win state that year. The lost in the Clinic Bowl 7-20 by Lincoln County. Lebanon also beat Riverdale in 1990, Rankin's first year, 21-18.
  11. I agree with just about everyone else; since 1991, Riverdale has been the best in the state. But the school just opened up in the early 70's. Other teams had been around for many many years before hand and already had a tradition started.
  12. You're absolutely right. In 2001, Smyrna made the playoffs with SIX losses.
  13. I think Siegel will win, but it's hard to tell with MJ. Siegel is coming off a big win for their program, but Oakland is really not that great of a football team. sorry 2priceless. MJ, even in the years where they only win 1 game, can play very tough. In 2001 they won 1 game but put up 21 points on Riverdale, more than anyone else did that season. MJ also almost beat a very good Lebanon team that year too.
  14. If Riverdale wins, I believe that either ties or breaks the school record for consecutive wins. But the same thing happened in 2002 at the Pit, and Lincoln County shocked the Warriors by winning 10-9 and breaking their winning streak. I don't see LC even standing a chance, but you never know what will happen.
  15. Oakland Riverdale Wilson Central LaVergne Campbell County Franklin Collierville
  16. I think Oakland pulls out a W but not by much.
  17. Okay, enough arguing about how good Kilbourne really is. The point is that Riverdale won, period.
  18. Riverdale will score at least 50. Blackman will either get shut out or score one or two field goals.
  19. One of MTSU's players got kicked off the team the other day. Antoine Owens assaulted his girlfriend, an MTSU softball player from Riverdale HIgh.
  20. congrats to Watson, Alsup, and the rest of the Stars!
