Whites Creek boast's two of the fastest players in the state. PG Calvin Roberts and Jamie Graham. Both were excellent football players. Both run about a 4.4. They are the catalyst for them. Whites creek likes to pressure the ball and jump the passing lanes, creating opportunities for them on the other end. It will be a welcome game from the grind it out games we see in 12-aaa. Antioch is 12 deep. not much drop off on the bench. they will like to run too. antioch will press the whole game with a 2-2-1 press. Sounds like these games will be worth my money. Both games will be played at antioch high school. Whites Creek and Antioch are both better than riverdale and blackman. The best team in Murfreesboro is Oakland High School.

Why don't you tell us about your team.................I hear you are the second best recruiting team in the area behind Marietta Wheeler. Antioch has the size to mathcup with your team better than Whites Creek. The roster for Mceachern is unreal. I counted at least 5 players 6'5". Whites Creek has no players over 6'5".

jamie graham started the game with 9 straight pts. putting whites creek up 9-0. mcgavock rallied. half time it was 30-18. the incident in which he is referring to, was an intentional foul on kilcrease. kilcrease undercut a whites creek player going for a dunk, and the player landed very hard and awkwardly on the floor. (the player was josh reddy). reddy had been blocking several mcgavock shots. this is the second game i've watched whites creek struggle against the 1-3-1. the first time was beech. its shocking since coach nollner employed the defense for several yrs in the 90's.

mcgavock was down most of the game. they made a run at the end. whites creek made their free throws. i think the creek won by about 5-7 pts.

Whites Creek's Half court man to man defense is amazing. It is something to see. The conditioning of those guys is amazing. They are everywhere. Antioch will have the size advantage, but can their guards make good decisions with the ball??? Jamie graham had 11 steals last night..............................

They run a 1-3-1 zone on defense. On offense they run a disciplined motion offense. They have good shooters too.

Sounds like MLK is the team to beat. They have also probably played the toughest part of their schedule. Hillsboro is GOOD. Antioch is horrible. Hillsboro is really taking advantage of open enrollment. MLK, Hillsboro, East, and Glencliff are probably your top 4. Franklin is good. Of course Maplewood improves depending on how much Robert Wade plays(big kid from Jere Baxter). He's been playing mostly varsity. I hear McGavock is decent, I think they beat Maplewood. Whites Creek has lost to Glencliff and Maplewood. I'm not sure who else they've lost to.

Please do not compare Gaines to McAdoo. Apples and Oranges. There is not one coach in Metro that would take Gaines over McAdoo.............WHite house coach would take McAdoo over Gaines. You White House fans are funny. OverZEALOUS FANaticS.

MLK beat Maplewood I think on Monday(i do know MLK beat maplewood). Maplewood beat Whites Creek yesterday. Sorry I don't have the scores. Maplewood plays Hillsboro next.

Why are you guys trying to hype white house, based on summer league. teams don't even have all of their players in the summer. talk about the current regular season. what has white house done during the regular season?? all i keep hearing is what they've done at this camp or that camp................. and for the record, roger gaines spent his ninth grade yr at Hunters Lane........how he ended up in white house, who knows. but he is an average basketball player at best.

You are right, I am referring to Antioch. They can be selfish at times. Well Beech looked good the night they played Whites Creek. They must've played their best game of the season.

Its probably antioch's opponent at the arby's classic. Anitioch's two big men will be a problem for Whites Creek. it won't matter that they are Juniors. Whites Creek is small. And BEECH is a good ball club. Very patient on offense and very disciplined. Antioch was a year away last yr. This year and next year is their time. They can beat Whites Creek, but do they have the desire. Internal bickering is this teams only enemy, not their opponents........................

Beech by 7. I was very impressed with Beech. I watched them vs. Whites Creek. No. 23 i think that was his number, is one fine ball player. Beech was in the game the whole time. Their motion offense is very impressive.

I still think most of the kids("athletes") come from the east side of murfreesboro road. The JFK will still send antioch some better athletes than what apollo and antioch ms will send Cane Ridge

Jajuan Smith was once considered an overrated recruit for UT. You must be crazy to think Wiggins isn't D1 material. At his size he can get whatever shot he wants................. Doubters said the same for Barry Stewart from Shelbyville. He almost signed with austin peay. Now he is seeing regular minutes at Mississippi State as a TRUE freshman!

Its hard to go aginst Coach Quarles, but I'm picking Hillsboro. This team has more balance than the 2002 team. That team couldn't pass whatsoever. Maples vs. Eric Gordon will be one fine matchup. GOrdon can go step for step with Maples. but he can be overaggresive. he'll get at least two pass interferences.

Didn't see this one coming. Mt. Juliet is picked to win their district and possibly make a run at the state?? Anyone there with details. Or has McGavock reloaded? Also I saw where Hunters Lane beat Clarksville Northeast 75-31 in a hall of fame game. Maybe 12-aaa won't be as down as I thought.
