So what player do you think should get pulled and a freshman put in there place. And as far as the secondary goes, there's a few of the same coaches now, that coached when I played and our defense was pretty good that year, so maybe you shouldn't point all the blame at the coaches. I don't think the coaches forgot how to coach in a few years time.

To the people who want to blame the coaches, have you ever thought that it might be the players not getting the job done instead of the coaches fault? The coaches can't run, tackle, and block out on the field, the players have to be held accountable for something.

Were you not embarrassed last year when Alcoa was running up and down the field at will? And you beat Westmoreland by 5 after they beat you during the regular season, that's not exactly claiming supremecy over them.

What's Westmoreland versus Smith County's over all record against each other? Looked around for it but couldn't find it anywhere.

If most of your players do that I think you would of done better at the competition than what you did.

Why would Lafayette go to your tournament when you won't come to ours. And as far as I'm concerned, RBS can stay the heck away, Lafayette don't need them, never have, never will. And as far as behaving goes, that's a two way street. RBS has had there share of bad behavior also. If I recall, RBS had quite a few people get thrown out of lasts years game when Macon beat them by around 20 or so.

All this stuff just cracks me up to read. We got one guy who must be big and bad telling people what he thinks of them over an internet message board, and another talking trash after his team done got put out of the play-offs. And this thread kind of reminds me of the Macon-Smith thread a few years ago people from Carthage saying Macon got lucky and that there was no way Macon would beat them again and so forth. And we all know what happened then. I just don't see Smith beating Westmoreland Friday night on there own field. We can sit here and play shoulda woulda coulda till this time next year and the outcome of the game will still be the same. Who cares if Westmoreland lost to Gordonsville and Macon, they won when they had to and have a region championship to prove it. And have you Smith County people ever thought that maybe the Westmoreland defense had something to do with ya'll playing so bad on offense instead of ya'll just having a horrible game?

What happened to this Macon team? I thought they were supposed to be the real deal this year and possibly do better than the Macon team in 2003.

Are you drunk? If Macon plays like they have the last couple of games, this game probably won't even be close. Even if they play to their full potential they still may come up short. Macon is going to have to play better than they have any game so far this year to even have a shot at winning.

Macon will be lucky to even make it into the play-offs, much less not lose a game the rest of the season.You beat Trousdale by one-point and Trousdale is way down this year compared to years past, Westmoreland is a good football team, but probably not quite the caliber your going to face from some of the teams in the region and you barely beat them by three-points. Then your first region game you go out and get beat by 40. I'm sorry, but that doesn't sound like a team that's going to go 9-1 and make it deep into the play-offs.

Why is everyone so deadset against consolidation for?

On the film it's really hard to see, you can't really tell. It looked like it might of went through his arms and hit the ground and he trapped it then ,but you can't really tell decisively either way. But I was told by some fans, who where standing down at the endzone where it happened and they said it wasn't a catch.

How did Macon get screwed more than Westmoreland? Macon never crossed the plane at the endzone, watched the film last night to prove it, it's not really even that close when you see it. Macon had a fumble, that was a clear fumble on film but the ref's called him down. And theres couple of more things that you see to, but it's over with now just have to move on and get ready for next week.

I see this game being pretty close through out, but Westmoreland pulls away in the fourth quarter and wins by 10.
