I think ER wins in a close 4 quarter game! The first time they played it was a fight to the end and I expect nothing different. I'm going with ER 20-18. Can't wait to see this rematch! It is hard to be the same team twice in 1 year!! Let's go Pioneers!!!

That is the direction the program at ER. Change doesn't happen overnight but I sense good things for the program as long as they respond to last weeks good old fashioned butt kicking the right way with a District win over a solid Hixson team! I was shocked as we'll with the Loudon loss. Was afraid it was a trap game with them being 0-5 and it seemed as much. I also heard rumor that Loudon got 5-6 guys back that hadn't played so maybe that effected it but either way ER wasn't ready for the Loudon game. I doubt they are overlooking Hixson this week as they may have. As a fan I hope they are more prepared mentally and physically than last week. That was hard to watch from the stands! Pioneer for life! Bring it this week ER and shock everyone again like y'all did with the Polk win! I'm picking ER by 4!

Thoughts on the game this Friday?

I think it will be somewhat close for a while but I think central May have more athlete. 1 or 2 big plays will probably decide this one for either team. But I'm going central by 13.

Agreed it is way too early to be saying anyone will handle the district. A lot cannot happen and remember these are high school kids and how they respond week to week to success or lack of success is vital for high school teams. I'm interested to see how ER is gonna respond to having some success in beating a ranked team in Polk County. For all Pioneer fans I hope they are focused on Brainerd and nothing else!!! True but most of his yards did come in the first half. And on that 45 yard run in 3rd. That is all I was saying. Polk has to find a way to get him rested on defense. He is too valuable to play both ways all the time. Hopefully both teams had no injuries and good luck to Polk the rest of the year!

Are you kidding me!! I did nothing but commend #35 for being a heck of a ball player! Best on Polks team! How amazing that people try and turn my words against me. Well I didn't feel this need to get into an argument in a message board this week so I waited to make my statement now. Y'all accused me of running my mout to central well...ER are a bunch of quitters huh??? What about now??? Did they quit??? Big 35 is a heck of a player for Polk but that wasn't enough. Chattown lineman is a smart man! He knows football just like this guy. Take away 1 run by 35 in second half and Polk did NOTHING!!! I have nothing else to say other than SCOREBOARD baby!! PIONEER PRIDE 4 LIFE!!!

Well I had planned to get on here and make a statement the other night but I decided to wait till after East Ridge shut out Central. To everyone on here that hasn't seen ER play until tonight just so you know, there has only been 7 points scored by a legitimate drive in 3 games VS ER Defense. Watch the tape and check the stats because they don't lie. Tonight ER's offense starting clicking well and took care of the football. The offense was able to overcome several timely penalties and sustain drives. Every aspect started to come together them them tonight. Not to mention they forced 3 pics, a fumble and caused a safety. All I am saying is know what you talk about before making assumptions about teams. Good luck to Central the rest of the year, and I hope they are without injury moving forward!
