  1. Who all is going to be playing on this team. Will there be many girls returning from last year?
  2. Harpeth Hall did deserve the championship trophy. They are young, but have obviously worked very hard. Congrats to all the girls.
  3. Just a little correction. Rachel Goodwin is the one who hit the shot with only under 30 seconds remaining.
  4. Ok, some corrections need to be made before anyone would continue this subject. You are all starting to debate on false information. First of all, the Harding regulars don't make sense. Reread your posts before you put them on here. You constantly contradict yourself. Ryan beat Briarcrest, not the other way around. What advantage would it have been anyway? Mincy lost Miss Basketball last year and they won state. But you're right on one thing. A West TN player does not usually win such awards as Miss Basketball. There are not many options if Miss Basketball were to be chosen from Middle or East TN, in Division II. Archie is a good candidate and Ryan has had a strong program, but this year they lost to ECS and squeaked by Briarcrest. I know she was not playing at the time, but it is a dead issue. The outcome cannot be changed. I am sure she would have made a difference, but no one will know until it comes down to tournament time.
  5. You are right with one thing. Hutchinson should not have made it to state last year, but St. Agnes should not have made it either. Neither of those two teams were good enough to compete in state. Father Ryan should have been there competing for the state title. Sometimes the coins are tossed the wrong ways though.
  6. Congrats on your accomplishments. I am really proud of you. Goodluck in the rest of the season.. love ya jm
  7. Congrats Beech, keep up the hard work.. You are doing awesome!!! love ya...JM
  8. What is Briarcrest's record? Are they looking about the same as last year?
  9. Ryan won 36-34 I think.. It was a close game but Ryan had control most the game.
  10. Briarcrest won by 9 points.. like 49-38 I think.. It was very close until the end of the 4th. Livingston missed a few shots in the end that cost them the game.

What were the scores to the games for Friday, and what players stood out?
  12. I am so proud of you. I wish you the best of luck this year and next. I know you will do awesome. love ya gladius #12
  13. In regards to the absolute error in mhaLIONBOY's post, Lauren Lunsford is the point guard for ECS. I bet ECS is really glad Lunsford can't "bang around in the post." The starting post you are trying to refer to is senior Stephanie Williams. She hasn't exactly "picked up CC;" she's been running since she was a freshman- I have run against her. And can you please just tell me what you think Harding would have been able to do if Lauren Drees hadn't have been there. They sat there and held the ball for an entire quarter. You correctly stated the score 25-19. Perhaps you should check the score of the other ECS/Harding game. As for SBA and Hutchison- are they even in the running for a remotely good state showing? Will they even make it there? Well, I suppose someone has to fill that third spot... They've only LOST players over the past few years. I must say I'm excited to see this powerhouse Harding take the region, state, nation, world. Ending- what does it take for the quality teams of the west to get some recognition in the state play? Granted, HH and FRyan deserve every compliment said here. My prediction: Father Ryan to win middle over harpeth hall as seen in the past few years. Ok, corrections done, my piece said. Final word is just let the teams play. Don't get on here to blow off your incorrect steam. If you're going to name names, get them right.
