  1. Comer ain't leaving......I hope. He's the best thing to happen to McKenzie football is 20-30 years. Hey, Butchie, Back on the subject of Ward, McCaleb said there were sport teams underfinanced at McKenzie. What is she talking about? Trap team?
  2. Butchie, This ain't the forum to debate this issue. I agree with you. Just hope they can find another Director ASAP for the good of MSSD. I wouldn't take the job working under that board. Mr Ward won't have any problem finding another job. hardhead
  3. The Rebels lost a lot of support when the idiot School Board didn't renew Superintendent Jim Ward's contract. Take a look at the improvements made to the football stadium. One of the school board members that voted against Ward was also against the stadium improvements. But when she saw how good it looked, she flipped-flopped and was all in favor of it. The McKenzie High sport fans won't find a better supporter of sports than Mr. Ward. If he had ignored the law and allowed prayer at the football games, he would still have his job.
  4. Henry County held off Melrose. Milan won big. Hwy 79 must be lucky
  5. Here's my thoughts from an old time McKenzie fan 1. You got some bads call tonight but they didn't change the outcome of the game. S. Pittsburgh was 4 TD's better. 2. To contend for the gold ball, Coach Comer needs to schedule 2A teams like Milan and Westview. 10 or 20 years ago, who would have dreamed that McKenzie would play for the state championship! GO REBELS!!!!!
  6. McKenzie and Milan scrimmaged last night (Mar 4) in Milan. The gate went to the family support group for the National Guard unit from Milan and McKenzie that is serving in Iraq. I understand it was more like a game than a scrimmage. Milan won big but that doesn't matter. Anybody know any details?
  7. Personally, I prefer chittlins at the "Y". Bring back the gold football to West Tennessee!!!
  8. I just renewed. Thanks, CoachT for this website. hardhead
  9. If you heard it on the radio or read it in the paper, it got to be true.
  10. I second that, WTNbear. Let's bring the gold football back to West Tennessee. AGAIN! It's rightful home is in Carroll or Gibson County. As the heroes said, "Let's Roll!"
  11. Whoever wins in Milan tonight will bring home the gold ball next week. DL or Alcoa has got to be nervous about facing a team with Huntingdon's or Milan's speed.
