  1. Congratulations to: T.T. Harper - Trousdale Co. Shawn Ward - Smith Co. Wesley Satterfield - Trousdale Co. Wilson Cates - Livingston Academy TSWA All State 3A in Region 4 Great year guys, Best wishes to all [Edited by lgw711 on 12-18-02 2:50P]
  2. Sorry guys!! The post I had earlier was last years team. I got this from another source, and failed to check the date. My error. My apologies for any shock felt when reading this.
  3. Finally found this. Don't know why they are handling these releases like they are , but go to the TSWA website, all 5 classes are there. Web site is : www.geocities.com/tnswa Also, if you haven'tseen it yet, the Tenn. Football Coaches Assn. poll is on Web site : www.tnfca.org Have fun! [Edited by lgw711 on 12-17-02 4:24P]
  4. I read the same thing, but haven't been able to find anything on coachT, newspapers, or other websites. There is one poll already out; the Tenn.Football Coaches Assn. poll for all classes is on : tnfca.org Also, another poll is supposed to be released on Xmas day. P.S. The above TNFCA poll is really been catching "heck" on coachT, due to many of the coaches not attending the meeting, or nominating their players. From the limited amount of schools represented, this was not a fair poll. I'm not saying this because my school wasn't represented. My school(Trousdale Co.) had 3 players on the 3A team. Regardless, many deserving players never had a chance.

    RBS?

Could anyone explain what the problems were at RBS? Being in Trousdale Co., and having played RBS every year when we were in the same region & 1A, I hate to hear they are having any more difficulties to overcome than they already had. You have to admire these kids for even showing up, game after game/year after year. Has to be very discouraging, winning 1 or 2 games a year. Don't think I could do it. I'm not needing peoples names; don't know any of them anyway, just curious about a former Region mate.
  6. I watched all 5 games on TV(UPN Ch. 30), except maybe 45 min., which I listened to on radio (98.9 Lebanon) I thought the coverage was very good, considering the resources they had to work with. We have all gotten spoiled I suppose watching the big networks with wall to wall cameras, and all the latest hi-tech equipment. It is true there were some glitches in coming back late from breaks, etc., but at least we did get to see the game on live TV. Actually, radio wasn't as good in that respect as TV, but at least it was there. Personally, it was much better than I was expecting, and my hat's off to them for the effort. Thanks Channel 30 & everyone involved. Keep it up!
  7. Hey, little Pigeon, Congrats on a great season & game, win or lose! Wish you all the best after graduation. Trousdale fan,
  8. Congrats to Ridgeway on winning the 3A "ship". Congrats to Fulton on playing a good game, and a great season. Very exciting game. Think I've gained about 50 lbs.snacking thru 4 games, thus far. One more to go! Hats off to "Mamma Lewis". 2 yrs without sitting down at a game, that's one tough Mama!

    QUEENBEE ?????

It's amazing what can be accomplished when two great minds join together!! Some people just don't realize what us poor folks have to do to raise money. C YA

    QUEENBEE ?????

Queenie, Del, Ok, you guys have about got us figured out. Actually, occasionally in Nov., we flood the field, stock it with trout, and turn it into a pay lake. Use the extra dough to pay for new uniforms, footballs, & stuff. That money thing again. Unfortunately, it "sometimes" interferes with a scheduled game, but priorities are priorites, you know. Seriously, we don't have any trout in "the creek", just carp. Queenie, don't see anything offensive about thef9d thing. Seems picky to me. Great CPA/Boyd game. Sloppy at times, but exciting. Look forward to seeing you folks again.

    Fulton all the way?

This is just an opinion & nothing more(not a guru). From what I can find, the strength of schedule nod goes to Fulton. Ridgeway has, in 14 games, played only 4 teams with an above 500 record, winning 3 of those. Other games played against weaker teams; don't see a lot of offense there. Haven't seen Ridgeway play, but have played against Fulton, and are well balanced on both sides of the line. Pretty much a dead heat against Trousdale, don't believe Ridgeway can match up against either. Gotta go w/ the Falcons & the Eastern half of the bracket. Oh well, why the heck not: Fulton 28 Ridgeway 7. Have a great game & good time. Will be watching on TV. Trousdale Jacket Fan [Edited by lgw711 on 12-6-02 1:06P]

    QUEENBEE ?????

Queenie, First of all, my sympathy to the family, friends, schoolmates of the two kids in the accident. Really hard situation to deal with. Especially hard on the kids at school. They all think they are invincible at that age. Second, thanks for the cleanup. Some of those posts were really getting out of hand. As I told Antwan on another thread, I wish your guys a great season next year ( just don't beat us)LOL. C YA
  13. Antwan, Thanks for the good wishes for T.T. I really appreciate that, and so does he. Hope you guys have another great season next year( just don't beat the Jackets, please!). LOL. My sympathy to the family & school for your los in the auto accident. We have had the same thing to happen here, guess most schools have. Really hard for everyone to deal with. C YA
  14. Hey guys & gals, the fat lady has sung. The gane was over 3 days ago. Waste of time to continue going back & forth saying "did / didn't". Time to move on to something more worthwhile. Beat up on Osama & Saddam, not each other. Fulton, enjoy your trip to the "ship". It's quite an experience the kids & fans will never forget. Major TC Jacket fan!
  15. Congratulatons to T.T., Mr. Football back 3A!! T.T. has worked very hard for this, and certainly deserves the recognition for his efforts. He is a very unselfish person & player. A team player. All these guys are like family, and a close knit bunch. All were rooting for T to win it. I have been privileged to watch practice this season, and T practices as hard as he plays. Not a hotdogging type, just runs the play & goes back to the huddle. We wish T.T the best in the future. ps: Thanks Pigeon, for the congrats!
  16. Had to pay $7 all thru the playoffs, only got to see a football game. But along came the "birds" and not only did we get to see a good game, we got to see The Jerry Springer Show live. Can't wait to see what happens at the 'boro. And that fire thing in the stands; stroke of genius! Watched football on three levels for 30+ yrs., and have to admit I've never seen anything that stupid. Obviously no discipline at home or school. Remarkable!
  17. Hey Queenie, Thanks, the top row crew will be there; game face on! Wish you could be here. Good luck with your B'ball game. C YA
  18. Approx. 3 hrs. depending of course on traffic. Would allow extra time. Have a safe trip! We'll leave the light on for ya!
  19. Actually, we were required to move up to 2A 2yrs. ago & elected to go on to 3A. The Ky. team you're probably thinking of was Mayfield , Ky. Also a top team in their class. Won one, lost one. Calvin, great coach, no brainer, huh? Go G-Wave!
  20. Kinda like grading your own test paper, huh?
  21. T.T. Is a senior. Jacket fan

    GO JACKETS

Amen, mamajacket, See you on the top row! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! JACKETS.
  23. klank4d, Can't answer your question today, but suggest you check coacht's front page on Fri. AM. Last week, there were listings of stations carrying games. Maybe you can find something there. Stay warm, it's in the 30's here in Hartsville today. Wish you could be here.
