Dear Golden Eagle: This rule applies to students who recieve awards while they are in school. What TTU is doing is giving Free tuition to any student who wants to come to TTU after graduation. It is a scholarshp available to all students. Tn. Temple Academy has nothing to do with this. TTA is not violating any rules. Its a benefit to all TTA graduates. I believe that TTU is going to increase their enrollment by doing this. Dr. Lovett did this at Liberty University and It benefitted alot of kids. I really believe that you need to call the TTU if you want that benefit.

Was this Unaka team the same team that Temple hammered by over 30 points?

OldTimeBaller: You are a WRONG and I'm sick and tired of you criticising Temple. I was at the game and I thot the calls were great! Sure they didn't execute some plays, but the calls were great. Lets support Temple and not run them down. You should learn to keep your negative opinions to yourself. Whitwell desrved to win. They were the better team, but give Temple the respect that they have earned. They suit up 17 players and play their hearts out. They should be commended for their effort. I praise their coaching staff for a job well done. Coach Skogen and Beard have down a tremendous job this year. Lets be POSITIVE with Temple and not NEGATIVE. GO CRUSADERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Since many of the people in eastern Tn. do not know much about Middleton, What do they have? Tell us about yourself. What do they have that will help them win the state?

I believe Coach Wadley took out his 4 senior starters at the 5:30 mark in the 4th quarter and Temple had not reached a 100 yet. S. Pittsburg played their big guns til the end. Robinson scored 27 but had 10 in the 4th. S. Pittsburg's coach asked Coach Wadley for 2 games next year. I guess it didn't bother him to much. Hey Grace worry about your own team.

Sean Wadley has attended Temple since he was in preschool.

Hey You don't know what you're talking about. Temple for the last 15 years has 350 wins thats an average of 23 per year. Coach Templeton had them for 10 years and Coach Wadley has had them the last 5 years. Together this coaching duo has placed Temple as a recognized program. They also averaged during those 15 years only 8 losses. IIn those 15 years Temple has a winning record against CCS. They have 2 gold balls and a silver one. Temple deserves what ever credit given.

Cak didn't even start pressing until about 2 minutes left in the game, why didn't they try pressing the whole time if they were so worried about working on their press? And do you really think pressing Temple's freshman is a good way for Cak to work on their press? Wouldn't it be more profitable to press Temple's starters, and not their bottom five? Cak was just trying to make the game look closer, so when they got back to Knoxville, they could tell everyone they played Temple decently close.

It Was preety ugly! The final score was 53-20. 10 of the 12 player scored. I believe that coach Wadley empty his entire bench at the 5:00 mark. They ran the floor well and had 7 3's.

Just to clear the air about temple basketball. Temple will play Ooltewah this year at Ooltewah on February 15, 2005. It should be a great game. I hope alot of people show up and cheer for their favorite team.. Go Crusaders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually the state champion has come out of Temple's region the past three years. CCS in 01 and Temple in 02 and 03.....we'll see how things play out this year.....

Jump Around & Fat Chance: If Temple is that bad why did theu lead Chattanooga Christian by 3 with 30 seconds left in the game? If they are that bad why do the CCS players believe that they will meet Temple in the Region Finals? If they are that bad why did they beat Grace twice? Just Asking.

Jason Casteel plays ball for Loretto High School. He moved in 2000 because his father took a church over in that area. I hear he starts and is playing well for Loretto.

Temple has 2 very good freshmen. Both start and log alot of minutes. They are Seth Skogen and Dee Newson. They both have potential to be All State their Junior and Senior year.

If Temple and Chattanooga Christian play again it will be on Temple's home court. Region 3A will be played at Temple's Vance Gym. Region 3A was going to be played at the University's gym, but they couldn't secure it due to a scheduling conflict.

It will be the typical game. Close but Temple wins by 10.

Dear Waltj23 You are quite the man with all you adjectives. Usually when aperson speaks as you do they have no game. Which in your case seems to be the case. By the way temple finished 5-5. A great year!. As far as winning, come check out the nice two Shinning gold balls. Which apparently you don't have.

Sounds like you think Temple recruits to win. You are right in that the 3 sets of brothers live in N. Ga. But listen, Coach Wadley works at Temple so his 3 boys go there. Dan Mouw teaches at Temple and his 3 boys go there. Coach Skogen is a pastor and coaches football and basketball so he sends his 4 boys there. Temple didn't go after them. Temple dosen't have to recruit to win. Don't insult us by your whinning. Why not get in the gym and begin working on your game instead of trying to find a way to bash private schools. Temple had to beat Mitchell which has 1200 students compared to Temple's 230. By dividing the classifications to only public and private will only water down public school state championships. Beat the best. Oh by the way are you from Pickett County? They were going to play Temple last year but a sudden snow storm??? prevented that??? Or was it fright?? Just keep whinning, while you are doing that Temple is in the gym getting better!!!!!!

First of all the one who started this thread is not a Temple fan. I believe he is Boyd or Grace. So it's not Temple thats being cocky. 2nd. Temple can be beat on any given night if they don't play well. 3rd- Temple is taking evry game one at a time. They are focus on City for Monday night. 4th- Temple believes that to win it all it takes hard work, Great defense and a few breaks along the way. Coach Wadley prepares his team one game at a time. He takes nothing for granted.

Both Jake Skogen and Ryan Wadley deserve to be on the all state team. They have led by example and leadership the last two years. This year they ae 26-2 going into te district tournament.

Hawk, I have the utmost respect for you all at Valley. I told Coach Crownover how well you all played. I was upset with the number of open shots that Temple gave you. You have a great shooting team and if we continue to give you guys that many open shots, We will get beat. That's respect for you all. I counted it a great win at your house because you beat Boyd and CCS there. Good luck in your tournament and accept this as an apology. We at Temple do respect you all.
