Layne has had some winning teams over the past few years with far less talent. But Kamikawa has the experience and has been around and took a team to Mboro. So it's pretty close

WOW i can't believe how lopsided the poll is. I see this game as being the closest/best game out of all 5. Melrose's defense might be the key in this one. I see Melrose by no more than 6

Usually the teams that come and play are very good teams or better than most around here. It's fun to watch the teams from other countries since they have a totally different style.

Horrible idea. It will never pass. Coaches will complain to the board so much that they would have no choice but to veto this ignorant idea. I mean who wants to go down there and see just 4 boys teams and 4 girls teams? That will take all the fun out of the whole week for us who go down for the entire tournament. Money has to be the reason behind this.

I heard a rumor going around that there was a spy spotted at a Wartburg practice/scrimmage. Don't know the details about it. Just that he had a perm hair style and wore 80's style sweat pants. Also beleived to be eating pop sicles like nothing. Maybe King Brian can inform us more about this.

The local teams have traditionally always been in it. Unaka is not considered "local" like all the other teams that are in it every year I'd rather see outside teams that are powerful come in and play instead of Unaka or Cloudland.

I would like to see the Puerto Rico team play again but i highly highly doubt they will ever be back to play after their actions last year.

Well it changes pretty much every year with different teams with the exception of the local teams. Unaka is not on the same competion level with teams in the Arbys. No where near the level so its good they dont get invited. Teams in it are to big and strong for a small 1a school.

Anybody from upper east tn heard anything about this years Arbys as to who is in it this year?

Temple still has a Skogan left on the team right? They should be tough as every other year. As for Grace they will contend as long as those Jimmy Buffett looking shirts the coaches wore at Mboro last year. Not very long.

It looked like Bolivar brought the most fans for the Wed. game. Wilson Central also brought a lot of fans but they should have since they're just about 15 miles away.

Jackson has probably the 2 best players in the game. But White Station has by far the better team as a whole. Be a close game but I look for White Station to pull away late and win by about 10

Pickell shot very bad the entire game. it's really sad they have to go out like that. and to make it worse on the last shot of the game if was MAULED by the Jackson players when he was going up. very poor officiated game!!

McMinn Central brought the most students and had the best student section from what i've seen.
