After reading all these post for the last few days, I was hoping not to get involved. I can't believe the things that are being said on here about the coaching staff at EHS. I know that there is probably about a thousand coaches in the stands on each Friday night but the ones on the field seem to be the ones that are qualified. If your qualified to coach then go to Watauga Ave. to the top of the hill and get an application, they take them every day. Everyone wants to jump on the coaches for the season this year, by the way they were champions, we seem to forget that. Lets talk about the fan support. If you have been a lifetime cyclone supporter like you all talk then when was the last time you saw the stands so empty as they were this year? It's easy to pull for a winner but when time aren't as good everyone wants to jump off the wagon and start pointing fingers. The fans now want to get on here and not support the coaching staff after they haven't support the entire TEAM the whole year. It seems fairly obvious to me that their is a few daddys out there that didnt like the year there sons had so lets blame the coaches. And what about the great coaching in the younger level (not TAD but younger) if its as good as your saying then the coaching at the higher levels should be easy because you've already taught them everything. Lets all try to give our support to both the players and coaching staff at EHS because its all about that cyclone pride, and if you've every worn the orange and black then you know what I'm talking about.

Better get a good look a North, because it looks like thats who you'll see in the first round of the district. Then if you win that one you'll win the right to play the Cyclones.

Yes Lambert is a senior along with Redd, Miller, Brown as starters. Also, Holsclaw and Porter are seniors that come off the bench.

Vince was chosen to play in the Army game but chose to stay here and play basketball.

They did play and Unaka won in OT. Dont remember the exact score but they won by about 5.

Vince has had some great dunks this year. The one against HV the other night thought he was going to bring the rim down.

Betsy should be ok as long as they stay focused. The way that Vince dominates on the inside the way BJ and Jordans been playing it'll be hard for anyone in the Watauga to beat them. As for playing without Walter and Lester it could really help down the road with other players getting some time, because they're not very deep.

Should be a great game to attend just for the atmosphere but on the court I dont look for it to be much of a contest. Hampton just lost too much to graduation last year and to injurys this year. GO CYCLONES

Hey Hardin talked to youre dad and I think the Gate City game will be cancelled because of them still being in the football playoffs. He went to scout North last night and talked to the Gate City coach there.

EastTnsportswriter, maybe you should contact Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Virginia, Michigan, Alabama, Auburn, etc. etc. because obviously you know more than any of these coaches and scouts do and tell them about Vince. You should have called Coach Fulmer this morning and told him because he was at EHS all evening today. Maybe he should have went on up to Cloudland to visit the kids up there because to hear you tell it thats the only kids that can play in this county. Maybe you should start printing some of the crap that you put on here into the Star and let everyone in the county know how bad EHS is. And get back down to earth Ive seen them both play and taking nothing away from Cloudland they could just not beat EHS, play with thim yes not not beat them.

SHOULD BE ANOTHER GREAT GAME. IF WEST CAN CONTROL LINE OF SCRIMMAGE AND USE UP THE CLOCK TO KEEP GREENEVILLES HIGH POWERED OFFENSE OF THE FIELD I LIKE THERE CHANCES. IF NOT LOOK FOR THE DEVILS TO COME OUT ON TOP. EITHER WAY THIS WILL BE ONE YOU DONT WANT TO MISS.
