Its obvious that you are an officail. the artical in the paper was very true, and it is very hard to get a quote from someone that won't talk to you, and they had there chance. I so the reporter try to get a comment, this journalist is a very fair writer and works hard to get a story. we are fortunate to have sports writers in our county that care about the sport and there job. I have been to several Middle school games in the last six years, and you know when you see the same officals every year, they are not getting any better, its very sad. We were playing a game a few weeks back and was fortunate enough to have to veteran high school refs, my first thought was it was going to be along night, however i was proven wrong, they took control early and the game was fun to watch. TSSAA should consider to team up veteran refs with newer refs even at the Middle School level. If something doesn't change at the Middle School level there will be some kids hurt. This ref called a T. on the home teams coach and then had the never to get in an discussion and put his finger in her face, several times, that is when he crossed the line. Only one of the two officals would call anything until the end of the game. Then Mr. Moffitts (head of the officals in our area) son started calling everything, it was almost commical. The Kids work hard to get ready for the game, then they get some refs that struggle to get up and down the court and can't get in position to make the calls. Its a joke and if they cant do any better than that they need to stay home. If they were paid on quality and accuracy they would work harder. The Kids deserve better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that it is just Middle School basketball however, coffee had 28 fouls against them east 12, go figure, it was in tullahoma. evan playing field, Coffee wins by 10.

The game and season is over, start a new post. However since you brought it up T Town, even though you beat us, that really doesnt make T town look that good. if you want to campare seasons lets look. Tullahoma won seven games, which is good for the boys, but 6 of those 7 had losing records, 3 of which CC beat worse than yall. So only 1 of your 7 wins was against winning records. SO THERE!

i really dont know where everybody gets off thinking that everybody in Smyrna's region is so much better. Other than Riverdale who has made it past the third round in the last few years, i think Cookville played Riverdale last year in the third round and gave them a good run. And if i am not mistaking they were there 2 years ago too. ( i could be wrong) FYI Coffee Co. good game for Coffee County, they played well on both sides of the ball. It was good to see Irons back on the field, he moved and played well.

You have talked to some bone head fans, that have got a short memory. i have been to as many CC games in the last 20 years as anybody, and i know that our boys are ready when they get there. We have been snake bit this year with some key boys hurt, and if you know anything about CC you know we dont have the depth to loose Senior starters, that is the bottom line. We gave Bayler all we had, they just had alot more to give, i dont know what Coach Price could have done to change the outcome. I was proud of our boys, sure i would have loved to win, but the stars was not lined up. Give it a rest. As far as Price bumping the Ref,that is a BS statement from someone that does not like Price, GET A LIFE. That game is behind us lets move on!!!

So what would Coffee Counties record be it they had played the same schedule? Instead of playing (Dekalb, Sequatchie and Bradley) They played (Brentwood, Overton and Baylor) big differance. For that reason Coffee gets the edge.

i dont know about Tyson and Holyfield, but it will be a fight to the end. i really feel that the team is pulling together, they have had so many key players hurt. And Price has never made any excusses, he just keeps pushing, that is what you have to like about him. The boys will respond next week and bring home a win, i really believe that. Price has done a good job in keeping the boys minds where it needs to be, and that is the winning the conference, i know we will have to have some help from other teams, but you cant worry about that, you just have to keep playing, and that we will, You can bet on it. I dont think there is any mutiny by the fans. Coffee Co. has some of the most loyal fans in the state, if you have been going to the games many years you would know that we follow the Raiders, even through all the real bad years. Now we know that it will be a game when we leave home on Friday night, and like our chances in every game we play. So you can bet we will not turn on them now. As for this game you can bet the Coach Price will have a good game plan in place and have the boys ready. The week off has been good it helped gets some boys healthy, which we needed. Having Harris with two hands will be a big plus, and Irons will give the defence a big boost. I am not taking anything away from the other boys, they all still have a role, just these boys are seniors and have been with Price since he got here. Give it a rest. I read last weeks post and not one of Coffee Co. fans made that claim. Only anti Coffee County fans. So get a life. As for this week, it should be a good one. Coffee's Offense could be its best Defense. Both Coaches will have the kids ready. Coffee will win it in the 4th quarter.

Coffee county proved against Brentwood that they will never stop fighting no matter what the score is.
