8AAA is a very competitive district.

Franklin Co.'s Dustin Crabtree has pitched 2 scrimmage games so far. Threw a one-hitter against Blackman, striking out 7 in 5 innings. Threw a 2 hitter against Soddy Daisy, striking out 10 in 5 innings. Havent seen a gun on him yet, but batters are not getting around on him. Good luck to everyone in 8-AAA this year.

Franklin Co. will be fielding a strong offensive and defensive team. Seven starters back from last year with the addition of C. Brown back at catcher. They have several good pitchers but no dominators. I think the district is going to be another cat fight with every team having a chance to win or lose to anyone on any given night. this is hilarious to me that cookeville is looking over Franklin County, is cookeville that confident that they can beat Franklin County? Thats good , i would rather the cavs overlook us, they might be suprised with a long bus ride back to cookeville dissappointed and headed for Riverdale in the first round.

Scotty Baker pitched a great game for the rebels to complete the sweep of Columbia. Timely hitting and good defense were the keys to this win. GO REBS!!!

Franklin Co. bats came alive in this one scoring 7 earned runs off Columbia pitcher B. Bratton. FC pitcher threw a great game, only struggling in one inning. Was a good high school baseball game to watch. Looking forward to another good game with Columbia tomorrow. GO REBS!!!

i think i know who fc21 is. you are a fool. just to ease your mind, he went to vanderbilt sports medicine clinic for his BACK. He has been playing with two stress fractures in his back for the last 3 years. He goes for a yearly checkup. So as usual, you have no idea what you're talking about.

Franklin Co. went 7-0 to win the St. Patrick's Day tournament in Loretto with fine pitching, solid defense, and timely hitting. The Rebels are young, but from what I saw this weekend, they are capable of beating anybody in 8aaa. Like I say, they're young and gonna make youthful mistakes at times, but when they're on, they can be real good. Good luck this season Rebs!!!

That was Dustin Crabtree. He pulled a hip muscle as he was making his first warmup toss. Should be fine. Will know more after a brief workout tomorrow.

Franklin Co. looked like they could be a force to reckon with in 8aaa. Dustin Crabtree went the distance on the mound, striking out 7, walking none. Chris Summers had a couple of outstanding defensive plays while the whole team swung the bat well.

I would have to say Lance Walker. He is a great catcher, has a great arm, good acurracy, speed, and can stroke the ball. He works really hard to get the job done.
