  1. Seems to me you are the one bothered by the Sun's actions not us on the outside.
  2. This coming from a USJ supporter who knows full well that The Jackson Sun has catered to, stoked your egos and kissed USJ's butt forever and you take offense when they put one or two negative articles in the paper about your sanctions. Get over it and grow up!!!!!!!
  3. And such a poor opinion it is. Don't be so naive to think that Milan would have been able to compete against Farragut in 2004.
  4. JCM tonight ended a seven year drought against crosstown rival Jackson Northside as they defeated the Indians 7-3. Michael Panthofer pitched a complete game for the Cougars in picking up the victory. Xavier Miller and Chase Treadway had key hits for JCM during a 6th inning rally that saw the Cougars erase a 3-1 deficit by scoring 6 runs to pull out the victory. Congratulations Cougars!
  5. I have to go with JCM on this one. The Cougars are playing with unity now. I too believe that 3rd times a charm. This team wants it bad and I feel that they're going to get it! Thanks goes out to Hardin County fans for coming to the game and look forward to seeing all of you again! I hope that Henry County will come and show us some support also.
  6. Melrose and Jackson Central Merry....this is the year of the Cougar!!!
  7. Let us reflect back.... G/town 16 JCM 14 Brighton 20 JCM 14 JCM played even w/ a very good G'town team and should have had at least an opportunity to get into overtime except for a very suspect call on a two point conversion pass. JCM beat Brighton heads up, had the game stripped away from them by poor and inexcusable officiating, and if they played Brighton tomorrow would beat them by 4 touchdowns. JCM could very easily be an 11-0 ball club going into Friday's game with Memphis East. This being said, JCM players overcame a great amount of adversity early this season, a season that could very easily have gotten away from them. This group of young men pulled together, re-focused and took the remainder of their season one game at a time not looking ahead to their next game. Friday night, look for this bunch of Cougars to step up big and play with a purpose.
  8. JCMJeff and CLFan... please start using spell check before posting. Thank You.
  9. I agree w/ fan 360. It's a common thing in West Tennessee w/ the Jackson Sun. But growing up in K-port, I recall the Times was pretty notorius for snubbing the Indians. Don't know if this is the place to put this, but I thought it was news worthy. Steven Moten is having a great season down here in Jackson. He had three interceptions last night against Memphis Raleigh-Egypt. I think he carried half their team on his back the last 10 yards to get us within the 5 yd. line. and setting us up for an easy TD. I know he misses you guys up there and we talk about the great traditions, but selfishly, I am thrilled he's back in Jackson and playing for the Cougars! He and my son are best friends and have played together for years. I'll miss coming up this year to see the Indians play Science Hill ...it's been our open game the past two years, but we'll be battling it out in region play. Good luck next week against the Toppers!
  10. hey jeff i guess that they dont teach spelling or how to use spell check at madison
  11. JuicyT i think you should skip ur game and come see my new haircut.
  12. How did they have a 60 game win streak if Popular Bluff won the state tournament last year also. Did they change classes or was this not a game in the state tournament.
  13. The reason that North Side withdrew was because the principal would not provide any transportation for the team. and they couldnt find there own way up there.
