When I first heard that MTMC's coach had been hired for Cascade, I knew there was a cold day somewhere. After giving it some thought for the past week, I feel this may be an excellent choice. If he brings with him the same enthusiam and skills he displayed at MTMC, Cascade should still have success on the field. True Cascae does not have the pool like Murfreesboro to pull from, but Chris has built an excellent program and the players that are coming up through the ranks are excellent. If I am willing to give Bassham a chance, something I thought I would never say, everyone should.

Congraulations to Richland for playing a great game. They hit the ball, we didn't. I think maybe Shelbyville Central's coach inviting them to their in door facility and ball field before the game might had a bearing on the game? Central's jealously of Cascade has gone to far!!! It is a slap in the face of every Cascade parent and child to do this. CALL YOU SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER!

Give credit where credit is due. Last nights game between Cascade and MTMC was one of the best called games I have seen all year. The ump behind the plate established his strike zone and stayed with it all game. He took control of the game and made his authority known. Justin Bryant for Cascade did an excellent job on the mound!!

Cascade's Tyler Bowen has filled the shoes at second base. He has had an outstanding glove and bat this year.

Dang Trey, sounds like you have mellowed since December 17!!! Thanks for the compliment about Mo. Clinard is an excellent pitcher, but then again so is Mo. There are so many factors to figure in, but on any given day one could out pitch the other. alot of it is who is standing behind the plate and at the plate.

Well. I saw it and can not believe more is not being said about it!!! Albert and the Community player were going after a loose ball. The ref in question actually pulled Albert off the Community player and gave him a shove that made Albert go back 4 to 5 feet. I know everyone makes mistakes and I am not ready to condemn the ref for one mistake. I only hope he appolized to the team after the game. This should be reviewed by TSSAA and if the tape shows it as I and those around me saw it, something should be done. Cascade always gets a bad rap from everyone talking about how undisiplined our boys are. I would say that Albert and his parents showed considerable restraint after this. I only hope that I would>

Excellent post. Cascade11 is 100% behind Cascade sports and their players. I am sure he is disappointed like many of use are that we lost Friday night. I have never heard him say a derogatory remark about any player nor for that matter any parent at Cascade. Some have made fun of him being at practices, but I was there to. Why? Not to think I am some kind of football player, but simply to spend more time with my child. Our time with our children is limited enough and if I can spend an extra 30 minuites with him I can and will. If Cascade11 is a bad example for my child, then I want my child to see more bad examples like him!! He has given encouragement and support not only our football program, but soccer and softball. So I am for one proud to call him my friend.

His name is Matthew. He picked up the nickname MoMo when he was two and it has just stuck. More people know him by his nickname than his real name.

Hey 11, sorry about josh. I was asking Mo yesterday where he was and he told me about his injury. I have seen his kicking this year and his leg strength has improved dramatically. Physical therapy and the chiropractor has done wonders for Mo. One thing that has helped him is streching. According to that Curlingwook guy, we wont be kicking any pat's anyway.
