  1. Whoo Wee, whats done gone and got into your craw?? and such big words also. Usins country bumps from Cascade sure are impressed. I guessin we will be seeing the Forrest soon enugh. Ain't nobodys worried whosin on the varsity team excepting us parents, causing we know a good screwing when we take a gander at one. And far as Mr. Kenny is concerned, you might wants to meet him and get to know him and yous mightin change yor mind.
  2. Sounds to me like big brother is a little envious of little brother!! Could it be that little brother has been out performing big brother for the past several years? As for your ex- central coach recrutiting Nick, WHAT YOU SMOKING MAN??? You obvious don't know this man, his character, and apparently his capibilities, since Central did not want him. Why don't you stay on your on post about Central....oh yeah, there are not any...sorry.
  3. Oh how ludicrous!!!! Don't even assume that Cascade recruits players. It's funny to me that most of the kids I talk to say they wished they had come to Cascade alot sooner than they did. Come out of you glass house. Cascade11 is correct. If Nick wants to transfer back, I am sure they would let him. It is about Embry getting his delicate feelings hurt. Cascade is a better school and I am not talking about sports.
  4. Wooh Wee 77, sounds like we got a little chip on our shoulder. Or maybe just jealous. Don't even know how you could compare a little ol county school with you big city slicker folks in Shelbyville. I really dont think anyone at Cascade would mislead Nick or anyone else. We realize it is about a young man having the chance to play ball not about your pride or ours.
  5. I try not to respond to such post, but Cascade 11 is correct. The issue is letting Nick play, not where. I have seen Nick play baseball for the past 8 or 9 years and he has never been one to float his on boat. His mother and him have traveled hundered of miles and he has always been a team player and aways humble. I guess it is ok for a Cacade player to transfer to Central and play baseball, where nothing was said. Isn't is amazing that all sorts of players have been brought in to play basketball and nothing is said. And Cascade 11 is correct in saying that the principle's feeling were hurt and he is holding a GRUDGE, not only for loosing players but coaches to Cascade. Maybe he should try to find out why players and coachers alike are leaving or wanting to leave. " ONE MANS TRASH IS ANOTHERS GOLD."

    Region 5A

Mo did pitch a great game, but the defense behind him was excellent. I have not seen this bunch of guys play a better game. Justin Bryant, playing third, had an outstanding game. Levi Bain, playing short, made several outstanding plays. Kyle Clanton made an almost impossible catch in left field. Tyler Bowman, on first, also had an outstanding performance. This bunch of guys have really come together and play as a team. GO CHAMPS!!!!

    Cascade vs MTCS

I would have to say the ump behind the plate at cacade was one of the best we have had. He was consistant, fair and controlled the game from the begining. The ump at your house had such a tight strike zone it made it difficult for both pitchers. We knew that which ever team pitcher tired out first, that they would probable loose the game since the new pitcher would have to adjust to this tight strike zone. The ump in the field was another story and he did make several bad calls for both teams. I would have to say we were very impressed with your catching and was probably the best we have seen this year. I thought Siler did a great job throwing. By the way, my son, MoMo, was telling me how he thought you were not only a good player, but a nice person.
  8. Jogles, sounds like you need to be on the sidelines and not in the locker room if you have such feeling about K. Parker!!! No I do not play, but I attend all the game and most of the practices and I see nothing you have alluded to. So, call me an IDIOT!! As far as recruting, my son has played at Cascade 1 year and has already been contacted by 4 colleges!!! So take your spite and keep it at the house and let those player who have the ability and desire to play PLAY. And as far as your opinion of Coach Kenny, sounds like you assume a lot and you know what that make you.
  9. First of all, your correct. There should be no finger pointing until the tapes are reviewed and punishment is dispersed. Second, I was not the one that brought Shelbvyville's coaches into this discussion. Don't expect me or anyone else to sit by and let someone put down our coaches or school and let it pass. For someone to make the statement that our schools only have players that can't play at Shelbyville is a slam againt our coaches, players and parents. Have you ever thought that our children go to Cascade and Unionville by choice not by force. It was told me before I sent my children to Cascade that there are city problems and country probems..... give me country problems anyday. And dont assume how much I am involved in sports!
  10. It is easy to blame this on the coaches!! Shelbyville has such a great program. Lets see, they coach by intimidation not by leadership. That why my child goes to Cascade. It was't the coaches that caused the melee. The old adage: THE APPLE DOESN'T FALL FAR FROM THE TREE. It starts at home, not on the court and when parents are leading the fight put the blame where it actuall belongs, not on the coaches! Reread the post and see how many Cascade parents were fighting!!
  11. Excellent post!!! Finally an unbias opnion of what actually happened.
  12. You could not ask for a finer group of men coaching a great group of kids. Kenny Parker is a fine christian man, on and off the field. Parker and his staff not only talk the talk, but walk the walk. They lead by example. Cascade is fortunate to have Parker, Carkuff, Austin, Edwards and Chris Parker to coach our boys, not only in football, but life. As anyone that coaches knows, it depends on which team shows up that night.
  13. First of all, Belmont is a university....that students from Cascade go to, and I would not be knocking a kicker until you see ours tomorrow night.
  14. Cascade has been the Rodney Dangerfield of football this entire season and getting no respect from anyone. So ask the nine teams we beat how good we are. We were beat by Jo Bryns because they were the better team that night and I respect them for that. Their fans and players were a class act, even before the game. So Cascade... I guess you have to prove the naysayers wrong once again. Go Champions!!!!
  15. The Tennessean thinks the state line ends at Rutherford County.
  16. See that is the problem....we are all proud dads here and we all want bragging rights, but when it gets down to it, it's all up to our boys. I wish them all good luck, but of course Cascade more than JBHS....
  17. What kind of kicing game does JBHS have.... I just gotta ask?
  18. After reading all the post, I am glad to see that Reddevil36 and Belmont9 are getting along and realize that the game is on the field and not in the stands. Of course I am for the Champs and whole heartly support them. The players on both teams have earned our respect becaused it has been a heck of a ride. Win, loose, or draw, all the fans should respect each other and walk out of the stands with smiles on our faces knowing our boys have done their best. By the way, Belmont9, why are you not in class?
  19. Minor and Skelly are a thing of your past. Not too many of these players come along often. I think this year on the mound will be a little different!
  20. Thank heavens that at Cascade you can at least tell the girls from the boys. I am sure the Cascade girls feel devastated by your opinion of them.
  21. Cascade does not have one outstanding player, but several great players that all work together as a team. Parker is an outstanding coach and his coaching staff have done a great job with these boys. Cascade will win, the only question is by how much???

MoMo Stewart, a sophomore from Cascade, has had several excellent games this year.

    District 9A

Cascade must beat Forrest twice to win the district, but it is my understanding that the top two teams go to regionals anyway. The game was rained out for Wednesday, not sure of the make-up time, probably Thrusday. GO CHAMPIONS!!!!
  24. Cascade won in 5 innings Wednesday's game. Davis started with Reed finishing.
