Personally I just think it's a long shot for UT to get Cobb! They never showed interest in him until now, so I doubt that he'll show love to them. He told me that he was gonna ask the UT coachs a few questions. He was gonna ask about Shaffer and if they promised him the same things. I just don't see UT in a spread offense any time soon.

Why is he ignorant?? That's his opinion and I do think he is one of, if not the BEST ATHLETE in the state!! I'm not saying these other players aren't great, but I do know Cobb is in the top 5!!

I heard DCA was a pretty good football team and York's record speaks for itself, so I can't wait til the semi's. It's going to be a great game and good luck to both teams on Friday! Alcoa will be waiting to host one of yall.

His performance against CAK earned him an offer from UT! What took them so long to realize what type of player Cobb is??? They may be a few months too late. I went to a UK game with him last month and he really loves it up there. That was my first time going to a UK game and it was an exciting atmosphere. UT will have to work extra hard to get Cobb.

I just got off the phone with him and he told me that UT faxed the offer to them this morning and Cutcliffe told him that he'd play qb and that UT was going to the spread. hahaha, I wouldn't count on that one, but they have Coleman and Crompton so why would they change their offense?? Once again, telling the player what they wanna hear to get them there. Randall is not worrying about it right now, but he did did sound a little open minded about the offer. UK still has the upper hand as of now.

Look at some of his highlights on rivals. He can become a great player in the SEC. He can run, throw, catch, tackle, and he knows football.

Cobb from Alcoa had a statement game last night in a 56-21 win over CAK. He had 160 passing and 3 tds, 150 rushing and 2 tds, and he intercepted a pass and almost ran it back! His best game this year!

I can't really comment on that game because I was gone to college and didn't see it. I heard the defense scored like 42 points though. I'm hoping Alcoa plays at home if they win, but York would be 13-0 and they are a #1 seed. Will that loss to Maryville cost Alcoa home field? I don't mind traveling, but it would be nice to save a little gas.

I don't know much about Red bank, but I do know they're 12-0! Should be a great game and I think Ima have to come to this one. Maryville may not be winning by 40, but I wouldn't bet against them. Rebs by 7!

I'm going to be honest with you, Alcoa has always had the talent to play with anyone.The talent on this year's team is no where near the talent of teams from the past. All alcoa was missing in the 90's was a weight program and a great coaching staff. They've caught up to every other 2a team and now the dynasty has begun. There's nothing special going on in Alcoa. The program is just where it needs to be now. Alcoa could actually win 3 or 4 more state titles in a row. The up coming classes are loaded!

There's no way Rankin will even let them get close to 91. The most Alcoa will get is 56 or so........If Alcoa and York both win will Alcoa travel to York or what??

I'm not sure, but if I had to guess I'd say he had around 150 rushing and 2 td's and around 200 passing with 3 td's. and an int.This was by far his best overall performance this year. He had a 90 yrd. td run and he just made some amazing plays when Alcoa needed them.
