r u new to baseball? a perfect game means that the pitcher, and the rest of the defense, does not allow anyone to reach first base the whole game. 21 strikeouts would be very nice, but that's not the only way to get a perfect game. [Edited by bigblah on 3-27-03 9:31P]

doesn't matter what u say. a perfect game is the hardest thing to accomplish in baseball. doesn't matter what team u play, it's hard to throw a perfect game. congrats to brad.

how much do u really know? just tell me a few things about the mba program that we might not know. did u have any relatives go there? by the way, basketball is basketball. it has nothing to do with baseball. MBA's team struggled this year. how can u say that that carney kid dominated? that's the most worthless comment ever. we could come right back and say that the baseball game will end like the football game (41-7). u don't know that much about common sense now do ya gary? and ur not in our heads, we're actually in your's. we're just getting a good laugh at your responses. but as i have already said, the game will be a great game.

gary, u must really think u know a lot about mba baseball... actually, i don't think u know squat about it. pettus is not overrated at all! he's one of the most dominating pitchers in the state. so y don't u stop talkin trash about a team that u don't even know about. and yes the mba father ryan game will be an incredible game this year (everyone needs to come to it). it was an amazing game! congrats to all the HH players! nancy sisk played extremely well. congrats to BCS also. Both team played really hard and fought to the finish. just another amazing game between 2 amazing teams!

i'm really sorry, but pete compton is not THAT great of a pitcher. all he has is a really long arm motion to deceive the hitter, THAT'S IT. scott pettus is far better. better fastball, curve, anything else...

i'm really sorry, but mba is going to have THE TOUGHEST schedule in 03. nobody else is playing the #4 team in the nation. nobody else is playing a team that won the state championship in mississippi. oh yeah, don't forget about the rest of the DII AAA teams who always play really tough games.

i'm sorry, but scott pettus (mba) will dominate EVERY batter he faces. he's a very good pitcher, quite possibly the best in DII next year.

yeah, i can agree with u. at mba he kicked the ball very well. when i saw him kick on tv, it didn't look like his normal kicking motion. i think the coaches screwed his form up or somethin. if he would do his own thing, he would have a higher avg.

being a past teammate of ingle's i have seen and know his abilities. he can run the ball, throw the ball, and kick it pretty dang far. i believe that he will be starting at qb next year for florida. if he doesn't then he will be sharing a lot of time with the kid tat got redshirted last sesason. but if he doesn't start at qb, he'll start somewhere. he's too good of an athlete to be on the sidelines.

this is pathetic...ba people will never understand anything. ok, understand this, "IT DOESN'T MATTER ABOUT WHAT'S ON PAPER, IT'S HOW YOU PLAY THE GAME!!! (remember the clinic bowl this year?)" it doesn't really matter that the kid was in sports illustrated. and anyways, nobody was supposed to beat ba this year, according to newspapers, but i guess they learned the hard way. i'm not taking anything away from trinity, from what i've heard, they're a good team. i just don't remember hearing anything about "strong competition" in KY except for maybe one or two teams they play. but oh well, it'll be a great game next year.

U need to think before u write. bga beat mba the second game of the season, which was the same time that mba was figuring everything out with the new systems and who would play where. bga just caught mba at the right time. with the team mba had from father ryan game to the clinic bowl, they would be extremely hard to beat.

no way that mba could be ranked that high or be that good? HA, that's hilarious that you would say somethin like that. mba won the DII AAA state championship, which is the toughest division in tennessee high school football. nearly all the teams are ranked above 30 in the state (many in the top 10, mba being 1 of course). but anyways, how can u question mba's ranking? they beat one of the most talented and athletic teams in the state. and one more thing, not to take anything away from bhs, but i don't think they could beat ba now, it would be just like week 0.
