there are 6 elementary schools in grundy co. monteagle school is in marion but they have students there from grundy. imo(i'll probably get bashed for this, 3 words control our sports, north vs.south, and probably other things. BIG 8 BASKETBALL.

looks like this could be a tough year for grundy with the players that have decided not to play. the new region will be hard on us travel wise and gate money. i wish the best for brew and the team and i know they will give him 100%. wish we had a middle school. i think this would help.

hey del. i saw a thread a while back that coach p. was coming to cchs. i've also heard rumours floating about he was coming to grundy for the diamond job. any truths to any of this?

grundy-portland will have athens association refs.

tullahoma will probably send a crew to our game. some chatt. crews are going to polk, greenback areas and also some to nashville.

grundy is 2-1 in the last three meetings.

we also had some other injuries and with our lack of depth that's going to be an issue because i'm sure coffee co. will be physical.

i heard saturday night jensen is probably out until the whitwell game.

as heated as this rivalry is, marion could probably use a lineman at qb & it wouldn't matter. has marion went back to the veer?

the winner of this game could be region champ at season's end. sounds like it could be a wet turf at this one.

i saw today that meigs, polk, & tellico are going to be in grundy's region next year,along with east ridge & notre dame. add trips to mcminn central & sequyoah i'll need a new car about every other year.

Grundy must contain SP's speed to win. just glad to be at GCHS for the first time this year!
