I hope it works out. From what I'm hearing this was a big mistake.

Has Moore County done anything toward replacing Coach Price. I saw where the job was advertised on the Tennessee Education web site.

I know that the two assistants have applied and Melton from Tullahoma and Smith from Ezell has applied. Who else has applied and when will decision be made?

I am from Middle Tennessee, no ties to any team in Championships. Huntingdon BEST TEAM out of the ten that played --hands down.

Wayne Finchum for Moore County played for Purdue and started as a freshman. Jeff Norman went to Air Force and latter transferred. Bobby Damron played for Vanderbilt. Byrum that played with Fichum was offered D-1 scholarship but did not want to go. Horton a quarterback in the 70's was offered a D-1 scholarship. Sammy Scott who played with team in 60's who latter was asked to try out with Dallas Cowboys. Waggoner QB in 90's had some offers. There are others if you will check back. There has been many more that could have played like Todd Logan, that could have played but for one reason or another chose not to try.

The word is that Smith from Ezell Harding has applied for the job and the school Superintendant has given Coach Price two weeks to make a decision on staying or leaving.

Coach Price is not coming back, straight from his mouth to some of his players.

Bring Mac and Moffett back to Moore County, they were the best thing that ever happened to Moore County Football.

I don't think it will be him. Many people in the community don't like him and a lot of the players don't care for him. The players want Coach Christian; but what I am hearing is someone outside will be hired.

Price told his classes and players he would not be back next year. Who do you think the School Board will hire to replace him.

I am a Moore County fan through and through, but with the team playing like they are right now and the coaching turmoil, there is no chance of them winning.

I just returned from the Moore County Mt Pleasant game and I'm in shock. The MC team has some good atheletes but they play as a team without focus and emotion. They were beating for the third week in a row by the same plays. I just looks like the coaches are unsure what to do to stop the plays. I feel for the players they are a great buch of kids, but they are playing way below their ability. I blame that on the coaches. They show very little emotion on the sidelines and this is carrying over to the players. Football is a game of emotions and right now their is very little on this team. I really believe the buck stops with the coaches and right now they are not getting the job done and after five years of watching the MC team the coaches are not going to get the job done. I believe in giving anyone a chance, well this staff has more than their share of chances. IT's time for a change.

Contact Katie Parks, she is a junior at Moore County High School. Extremly fast in outfield, great glove and a rifle for a arm. I have seen her throw out many runners at home from CF. She was All North State in Arkansas where she played as a 8th grader and freshman. Last year she played at Campbell County High and transfered back to Moore County where she is from. Coach Price has things turned around at Moore County. Moore County could have very easily scored 100 in the Cornersvile game. MC played second, third and fourth string teams the entire second half. I really don't think Gordonsville will even be in the game.

Lots of team speed, Strong offfensive line and great special teams.

South Pitt is in the lower part of the top ten. They are as many as six schools as good or better.
