First, I would like to say thanks to Aaron Cothran for the nice comments. Huntingdon, your comment about ya'll being young...Mckenzie had 2 underclassmen WRs and DBs,a JR fullback, a sophmore tailback, a freshman quarterback,2 JR linebackers,and 2 JR linemen. You werent the only ones playin underclassmen. Whether you beat Mckenzie or not you still didnt win when it counted. Cothran ran all over your a**. He ran well against us too, we though caught more breaks and won. Don't get me wrong you all have some great athletes such as Hastings, Bell, Porter, Spellings, Parrish, Nellett, and many more. You will have a good team this year but don't talk all that jive and then get put out too early. That has happened the past 2 years. Peabody might be the #1 team in the state in Babe Ruth or Dixie League but not High School baseball. After playing them this weekend we (Mckenzie) played horrible but Trenton was the worst team we have played all year. We have won over quality opponents such as Milan. I spoke with one of Northsides coaches and they were throwing one of their better pitchers because he needed work. I also heard somethin about he had been hurt and was trying to get back. But the game was a fluke Northside would pound Trenton if they had to.

Milan will have a tough time with Boliver. Boliver is a very controlled Memphis team. They can just flat out play. You should see them at the state tourney.

Who do you think has a good chance to make it to the big show this year? Who could play for the title?

Mckenzie is a tough place to win when it counts...in the playoffs. Ask Fairview and Lewis County....the crowds are very good and many teams fear goin down near the fans on the fence in the back of the endzone.

Rod Smith of Milan will be good.

John Kermit Laughrey of Mckenzie is clutch. He was a freshman last year and did a great job. He is the kicker of the future.

LC will probably have a good year and play Mckenzie again in the Quarterfinals. Of course they will get it handed to them again.

What part of the state are you looking in?

What will be some of the best teams in 2A next year? Lipscomb? Mitchell? Sweetwater? Lewis County? Mckenzie? Huntingdon? Tyner? and many others....who will be the best next year?

There is a wing-t camp at Bethel College in Mckenzie every summer that is run by Lewis County. I think they will have it this summer too.

What are predictions for region 6-2A and the teams in this region?

The punch thrown at #25 (Beal) was on the McKenzie side of the field. I think it was in the 2nd half. He swung and Beal dodged it. I do not know what # it was but I will find out. I think it was #30 but I am not sure.

The ball that you say wasn't caught by #82 was caught. I had one of the best views. I saw it from right behind the Mckenzie bench. CATCH!!! Where are all the region 7 teams in 2A? HOME!!!! Mckenzie is in the semifinals again. So why do you say that they would not make the playoffs in region 7?

I just wanted to know if anyone knew anything about the field that Memphis Mitchell plays on?

Hey Bonecrusher you want to talk about the rebels showing no class? What about lewis county throwing a punch at #25? That was a clear cheapshot on the holder and it came straight from a bunch of rednecks. That shows no class and no control by the coaches. #42 did not flip ya'll off, trust me he would have told me. I bet your guys felt real good takin a hit on a defenseless holder and knocking him out when he drove 84 yards for the winning td on LC. Have fun liftin weights.
