I'm not a Jackson Co. fan, but when it's crunch time in M'boro middle TN will step up and take the title.

They should have just used their brains and waited until he got drafted and got the cash in hand.

White Co. never trailed in the game. I believe they led by 14 at the half and cruised to the 20 point victory. Not sure, but I think Lewis had 17, Anderson 13, and Sunday had 10 points but don't hold me to that.

The numbers may not add up, but I would take Cookeville, White Co., Jackson Co., and Livingston and win 3 out of 4 against the best 4 Bradley area teams. White Co. should have gotten some votes. They beat Livingston and Jackson Co. this year. Just my opinion.

Cookeville girls, White Co., Jackson Co., Livingston, Upperman, Clarkrange are all within 20 miles of Putnam Co. I think Celina may also be within 20 miles of Putnam Co. too. How's that? These middle TN teams are more powerful than the teams in southeast TN.

You will hit some excellent teams if you draw a 20 mile circle around Putnam Co.{Cookeville}.

Opperman....If they win the state then you can claim they are the best in the state. Until then, they are just one of several very good teams in the state.

southpaw24....I agree, and coaches like former White Co. boys coach Roy Sewell. He had several state tourney appearances back in the 60's and 70's.

White Co. won't have to worry about BA down the road since they are Div. II.

Well, it makes sense to me. Everyone has their own opinion.

But, WS has lost so they're not THAT dominant. If you are totally dominant and without a doubt the best in the state they wouldn't have lost to Ridgeway. If somebody like Cleveland was to beat them in the state in March would they still be the best? That's just the way I see it.

Southpaw24....There is nothing wrong with making predictions now. It's part of what coachT.com is all about.

You can't be the "obvious" best team in the state if you are losing to other TN schools.

District 7-AAA is going to be a tough dist. to win. White Co. beat Tullahoma at Tullahoma by 24 earlier in the year. I think the reason White Co. has struggled a little in the past couple of games is due to 2 or 3 players battling ankle sprains.

I don't know much about White Co. boys midle school team other than the fact that they are very good. I'm not sure if anybody has even beaten the current eight grade team the last three years since they've been in middle school.

I predict Cookeville will win. White Co. barely lost to Riverdale last week and it was BY FAR the worst game White Co. had played all year. Cookeville by 8.

I'm aware of Clarkrange girls, Oak Ridge girls, Livingston girls, etc. Just looking to see what other teams{BOYS AND GIRLS} have a great balance over the years like White Co.

Doesn't look like White Station is the best team in the state. One of the best? Yes. But not THE best.

What high schools have great bball tradition with both girls AND boys teams? White Co. has 23 state tourney appearances over the years. The girls have 12 appearances and the boys have 11 state tourney appearances. That's a great balance with a total of 3 state championships{2 boys and 1 girls}.

Anybody know Insell's age? Just curious.

ArcticCommando....Anybody that knows 7-AAA and 8-AAA knows that 7-AAA top to bottom this year is better than 8-AAA. It won't surprise me at all is 7-AAA gets three wins in the first round of the region tourney. Shelbyville being the only winner.

Sadler57.....I never said Cookeville wouldn't beat Jackson Co. As a matter of fact I played the "big ones" contest on this website and I picked Cookeville to win. However, Cookeville will still NEVER win a state championship.

Cookeville will never have a state championship.....hehehe
