A 15 year old 7th grader??? Most 9th graders are 14. What happened?

Cookeville 47....White Co. 40. It was a close game all the way. Cookeville led by one at the half.

Anybody know why half of the bleachers at Cokkeville were closed tonight???

This is a much better White Co. girls team than the past 2 or 3 years. The game tonight{Tues.} will be a VERY close one. GO WARRIORETTES!!!

I am a big White Co. fan, but they have a weak team this year. Cookeville{unfortunately} will win.

Pink Panther...Don't get me wrong I am a HUGE White Co. bball fan. I go to lots of games{home and away}. Slatten does not need 3 or 4 years. I will give him next year and that would be it. He was 0-18 in his district befor he came to Sparta and then he didn't win and district game last year either and I don't see them winning a district game this year. We had 10 wins last year and unfortunately there is no way we will win more than that this year. There is one reason he has a state championship under his belt....HE HAD KIRK HASTON on his Class A team who went on to Indiana and did great for them. If it wasn't for Kirk he would have nothing.

Slatten does not have White Co. on the rise. They need to get rid of him now. I have been going to White Co. games for 20+ years and this is the weakest team we have ever had. I will be rooting for them, but they won't win more than 5 or 6 games this year.

Slatten has won zero district games in the last 2 to 3 years. Get rid of him.

Brent Jolly is gone, but Ross Jolly and several other talented players are in 8th grade right now and dominating lots of teams. So look out Crossville! Those days of getting beat by 20 to 30 points every time you play White County are just around the corner. What's that? I think I hear your knees knocking from here. LOL!!!

I wouldn't worry about beating a very poor Sparta team. I am a Warrior fan, but I also know that we don't have a very strong team this year. I will be happy if we win 6 or 8 games this year. Cumberland Co. better be worried about teams like Rhea Co. and Bradley Central.

White Co. girls are off to a good 5-0 start. They have as good a 2nd team as the 1st team. Keep it up Warriorettes.

Lawrence Co. and White Co. fans are some of the best I've seen. I can tell you that the worst is Cookeville. They are the rudest bunch I've ever seen. I don't see why the faculty and principal lets them get by with such rude cheers.
