  1. If you haven't been then how do you know? Do you have ESP? or Are you really Vince Lombardi in real life? Congratulations you were a good football player and a good LA football team from what you have said. Times change and teams change! There is nothing more those kids would like to do then win every game. The effort your team gave is the same effort this team gives. LA hasn't had the success like they have had in the past, but I remember in the 80's they weren't very successful either. Get off the Team and your rump and support them or leave them alone. They are KIDS not professionals that get paid.
  2. You don't have a clue what is going on. You just get on here an make your comments about what you have heard. Why don't you go to a game and see whats going on before you put the players, coaches and the whole program down. When there is a problem, you go check it out yourself not listen to someone else. By the way SCG07, shut up and get a life!!!!!

  5. There is no contract for tournaments. Teams just give their word and most of the time that's good enough. Not in this case, I guess. For the record, not sure what fee you're speaking of... we even let coaches and players in the game free too... Anyway, it doesn't matter. The situation has been handled. Good luck Unkaka, U probably wouldn't have liked our tournament anyway...

Monday 4:00 Rhea County Pigeon Forge Tuesday 4:00 Hendersonville Pickett County Tuesday 7:00 Dobyns Bennett LA has a bye because Unaka dropped out when they saw who they had to play. 7. That is just not true. Coach Smith shook Coach Winningham's hand, as did I. Preach to someone else about sportsmanship, because we have it. We know how to win, and we know how to lose with sportsmanship even though we hate it. Since we're on the subject--when you come to LA, your starters will NOT be booed. Ours were. We'll see you in January. Elizabeth Woodard
  8. We love and miss ya!! You've made awesome memories that will last you a lifetime-- and we know there's "Something inside so Strong" that will carry you through any adversity you ever face! They'll still never be able to "carry da bag"! Come see us!! Coach Woodard
  9. Unaka backed out of the tournament for the second year in a row-- without telling anyone until the last minute (2 weeks ago). We are having trouble finding someone to fill in, because everyone usually has their schedules set by now. If anyone knows of a team that is still looking, we are in desperate need of 1 girls team. And coaches, we have a great hospitality room too (if it makes a difference)!haha
  10. Does anyone know these dates??? Thanks!!
  11. Our trainer told me they came from Powerade, so that's all I know.
