Dont know what the Cats have this year, but as long as there's a slice of Big Ed's Pizza and a cold brew to wash it down with I'm for ya.That being said, I think it because its the 2nd game for Farragut will be a plus for them, they got to see a little speed last Friday , and might not be so shell shocked this weekend. They did stay hard nosed and hit hard in the 3rd and 4th qtr. I will say this..the kicker is one of the best I've seen in a long long time.. this kid is the real deal, and being from TN, I would hate to see yet another great football player from the Knox. area slip through UT's fingers and play for someone else on Sat. because I promise you he will be playing D1, hopefully not against his home state.My prediction...Oakridge 34-17

Well I actually missed the score by a touchdown, but our secondary gave up wayyyy too much ground...again.especially to 1 certain side. I expect G C will start someone else next week there, but overall I liked the way the line surged against Farragut and I hope everyone got outta there healthy. running game looked good and overall I give em a B tonight. Im here to tell ya Dooley needs to sign the kicker from Knoxville , NOW.

No Jamboree..I think what the WaCo one speaks of is our lack of in your face pass defense.In the past we have played way to soft on the corners and allow any and all 8-10 yard passes to be caught, relying on good tackling, just not getting burned for the big one. ..but we have always played way too far off the receivers allowing way too many passes to be caught in front of us.

My sources say 34-3 DB. . but you have to remember, it was only a scrimmage.

I guess you're right, since 1969 you've won 1 game against D-B. Five of those games were shutouts, and you been outscored 301-117... As for why they don't play anymore...ask your own Coach that one, I think he can explain it better than I can.

Still my 2nd favorite team, along with Art and several more here in Kingsport. Wherever you play(and I hope its same class as us) I'll pull for ya. except against us.Had a brother work at the plant there back in the day, and I really liked the way the whole town got behind you there.. all the signs on the eats places with go Cats, Big Ed's the Wildcat crossing..it was a great football atmosphere, especially when we butted heads. I wish you the best in turning the situation i'm reading about here on this thread around.

I'm excited about this yrs team. Might not win it all, but still have a shot. We return great skill positions, but not real big. This yrs team is a very smart and seasoned veteran team..As for Graham and the other coaches on the staff, I support them every Friday night. They might not make every decision right, but that's my team, and I pull for 'em. When it IS GC's time to hang it up, I really hope he would be the AD there.. the one we have now has no ties to the school, and needs to be in another position.. maybe golf coach (my opinion only). Whether they win it all, or lose in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd round im still pulling for them. It's been a yr since I last posted, and im ready for some football.

#9 is a great place to be. I wish that's where were ranked with 10 teams left. .kinda give you something to work for..without getting overconfident.

I guess if GC decided to hang it up, there's only 2 in the state that I can think of, then you're lookin at going outta state. Maryville's coach isnt going anywhere....ever, so the only 2 that I would ever consider is Rankin, and Ballard.

We have a former Hilltopper for an AD... We will gladly trade him for your big screen, but you can keep the announcer.

UGH...because this is a High School football forum, and I was at a D-B Science Hill football game where I witnessed this disipline problem ..I didnt imply anything, then you throw the race card ,thats been played so many times the card is almost bent in half.. what do you want next discount tickets?

Well there it is...you opened your hole, and the inevitable race card flew out, I wonder when that was coming. Yeah its a disipline problem, and if you cant see it you're part of the problem, and not just at JC..its in every school. Give it a rest, and wait on the next election to throw the next card.
