  1. How would PC be without just one of those eight kids......say the QB?! Yep, that's what I thought!..............
  2. TSSAA going to get ya some "special" officials too?!.....SMH!
  3. Open enrollment schools have to count the tuition students against their total enrollment. This system allow players to come play football without count against the enrollment numbers. Terrible. MLK in Memphis plays football.....why can't MLK in Nashville? Sad! Why do they have to do without?
  4. Alcoa get players from around the county because it is an open zone school. BUT ,even with these players, Alcoa enrollment is STILL one of the smallest schools. Pearl-Cohn can "steal" an entire school of almost 1000 students to cherry pick players from. AND, it does NOT apply to their enrollment numbers. BIG BIG difference! Totally cheating the system!
  5. Punish NO. Make play in the right Classification YES.
  6. Where does Xavier Shepherd go to school? 100% of Alcoa's, Red Bank and Covington's players go to THEIR own school. How convenient a school with almost 1000 students just happen to NOT have a football team. wow!

  8. Would be legal under the cooperative agreement because even Mr. TSSAA says: "We feel like the cooperative agreements have been very successful as far as student participation," TSSAA executive director Bernard Childress said. "Some people look at it as this is schools having an opportunity to win championships. We're not about that. We want them to have the opportunity to participate." Bless his heart!
  9. The is a nice Pearl-Cohn shirt Mr. TSSAA is wearing!
  10. Maryville or Alcoa needs to drop football, since both schools are 5 minute apart. All the players get combined and play in 3A! Yea! Would that be great!!
  11. Well Bernard Childress and the TSSAA are from Nashville...............sigh!
  12. As does Alcoa. Pearl-Cohn should be playing 6A classification. PC best player does not even go to PC! Crazy!!!
  13. Article from Tennessean: The way Pearl-Cohn Cheats
  14. 31 STUDENTS!! That's half the players that most 3A teams field!? Enrollment is a key factor in determining the placement of a team. Being able to cherry pick players from a much bigger field is not fair when you DO NOT have to play with other schools with that same enrollment. Pure BS!
  15. Makes you go Hmmmm?! Xavier Shepherd has scholarship offers from Appalachian State, Austin Peay and Jackson State as well as interest from others. It's all thanks to a cooperative agreement allowing students from schools that don't offer sports to participate in sports at other schools. Shepherd, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound dual-threat quarterback, attends Martin Luther King in Nashville but plays football at Pearl-Cohn. M.L. King doesn't offer football. Pearl-Cohn's enrollment is 643. M.L. King has an enrollment of 961. The Firebirds voluntarily played up a class the past four years, participating in Class 4A. They plan on being in Class 3A for the next four-year cycle. According to the TSSAA, 31 athletes from M.L. King were eligible for Pearl-Cohn's 2016 football team. This is a bunch of crap! Being able to get players from two schools with a combined enrollment of 1604 !!! and playing in 3A......WOW!
  16. Defense wins Championships! Alcoa locks down the Lions!
  17. Been from the River to the top of Signal Mtn.....................never saw any LIONS??? did see a kitty cat pretending to be a LION?!!!
  18. I'm figuring Alcoa holds Red Bank to 14 or less points.
