South-Doyle is simply going to dominate Halls tonight. South-Doyle is head and shoulders better than Halls. That is all there is to it.

To everyone who thinks that Halls will beat South-Doyle I have just a few hard facts that say otherwise. 1. Offensive player of the year (Ross) 2. 48 HR's as a team (Ross-11, Kirkland-8, Hawn-7, Zurcher-6, Vannoy-4, etc...) 3. Four .400 hitters (Ross, Kirkland, Zurcher, Smith) 4. Six all-district players in toughest district in Tennessee 5. Rookie of the Year (Hawn) 6. Two crafty lefties that consistently sit at 86mph (Holland, McClain) 7. A righty who can pump it up to 90mph (Vannoy) 8. A catcher that will flat throw you out with a 1.72 pop time (Kirkland)

The S-D Halls matchup will be a good game it is the region tournament, bad teams don't usually make it to the regions, Farragut is incredible that is why they are ranked nationally very high, S-D has already played them four times, they have seen Waldrop twice who is a very very good high school pitcher who is going to Vanderbilt and Catapano twice who will probably be a better pitcher than Waldrop, Lockwood threw against S-D either last year or in the fall and shut S-D down, but a year is a long time and right now S-D is hitting the ball Ross hit a homer off Waldrop Kirkland hit one about two feet from the top of the wall Hawn hit a laser off Catapano off the top of the wall i just don't see Lockwood being better than either of these two guys from Farragut, plus Halls is a smaller field than Farragut no wonder Lockwood has so many homeruns. Back to Powell S-D played them in the Oak Ridge tournament and run ruled them, it was not pretty and the first time S-D played Powell who threw there (#5) pitcher S-D threw Ross not saying Ross is a bad pitcher he is pretty good he just doesn't have good velocity had a 4-0 record at one point not sure what it is now but anyways Ross won't be pitching against Halls so the first Powell game doesn't mean jack because S-D was down and Ross hit a bomb to tie the game up so we will see who steps up! I don't see Halls playing with South Doyle

I have been at every game that South-Doyle has Played Farragut and Ross has gone 4 for 10 he earned his best offensive award for sure

Well I think Ross showed everyone last night that well maybe Waldrop isn't that good and swing and miss, no, swing and see ya later because he finally shut everyone up about that stupid 0.000 era unless they counted that pitch as an error on Waldrop so it wouldn't affect his era, because Kirkland smoked a shot past Delmonico that got counted by the scorekeeper, Kyle's dad, as an error.

by the way Bowman is big=time good. he has serious skills especially his right arm which has touched 93 MPH. He is a raw but he has a chance to be very good if he gets the right help.

i don't know who u are but this past january vannoy was clocked at 89 mph and to say he isn't one of the better junior pitchers in tennessee is wrong. Maybe you are just some jealous kid who doesn't have his god given arm but you shouldn't degrade a good player when u don't really know him.
