Cleveland out worked every team in the state this summer and its starting to show. While some teams, for example us (Soddy Daisy) only had 4 guys wrestle this summer. Cleveland had their whole team wrestling. i was at numerous tournaments this summer and Cleveland had 20+ guys at all of them. Congrats to Cleveland. They may end up being the team to beat at the end. They are only going to get better. The state is wide open this year with Bradley, Cleveland, Ooltewah, and Soddy Daisy all being pretty close, with any team being able to beat the other on any night. The sad part is, one team will be sitting at home when the state duals role around.

BB.........while Ooltewah is going to be tough next year. Dont count out Soddy Daisy. We will be returning 103 justin hammons, 112 dustin stewart, 125 taylor witt, 130 mikey fuller, 171 ben young, hwt billy zimmerman. we also have tough guys that couldnt crack our line up this year...103 dustin gardner, 130 jake fein and jake gamble (both spent time on varsity until mikey dropped), 145, brandon lane (john lane's little brother), 152 Tristan McCroskey (jason mccroskey's little brother), and 160 Colby Lewis who was a starter last year but had shoulder surgery this season. anyway, Soddy will again be very solid again next year.

Saturday Feb. 10, 2007 will be the Soddy Daisy kids club tournament for grades K-6. It is 5$ per kid, no usa or aau card required. weight classes are.. K-2....40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 68, 72, UNL 3-4....50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, UNL 5-6....65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 102, 110, 120, UNL K-2 will weigh in from 7:00-7:30, wrestling starts at 8:00 3-4 will weigh in from 11:00-11:30, wrestling starts at 12:00 5-6 will weigh in from 2:30-3:00, wrestling starts at 3:30 ...the wrestlers will get one pound with their singlet on. I will take the first 450 kids. Please get your rosters in as quick as possible. The dead line for entries will be Thursday. The brackets will be made Friday. We will run four mats non stop. Medals will be given to the top four kids, and there will be a best wrestler trophy for each division. these rankngs are more accurate then matman's!!!!

your right the rankings dont matter, but it matters to the kids and the readers of the board. if your gonna do the rankings then they should be done right. every week a soddy kid is took out of the rankings for no reason. last week fuller beats the #1 ranked guy and he drops out of the rankings. winesburg pins or techs everyone and drops to #3. this week stewart gets knocked out. winesburg still isnt #1, they jumped another kid above him. lettner drops to #2. if im not mistaken cofee has already been beat this year. if your gonna do hte rankings, do them right. dont show any favortism.

Dustin Stewart is not in the rankings. thats a joke. he beat the east ridge kid 2 times this year, and has not lost to anyone from TN in div.1. has a win over two time state champ baily whitaker, was 5th in the state last year, and this is the respect he gets. Stewart is a top 4 kid without a doubt.

Rigger..you might wanna get your facts straight. Lettner did not wrestle Coffee last year, and Lettner beat Meredith in the region so im pretty sure the best two guys were in the state finals last year. O yeah and Matt won the Mccallie Inv. tonight...the toughest tournament in Tennesee!!!
