I'm not sure what teams play but we are in the Christmas Classic in Newburn. Also would someone please post those scores asap. Its not going to be on local radio. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It was a great total team effort by the cats tonite. Tyler had 25pts, but the story of the game had to be the offense and defense ran by the cats. Coach Holt did a great job on his game plan! For all who have said that all this team can do is play street ball you are WRONG! They ran there O to perfection. They just could not be stopped. If anyone has anymore stats on the game please post.

There is a JV game that starts at 6:00pm. The game will start right after that.

Giles County 92, Lorreto 50

Giles County won 92 to 50. Tyler had 25 pts and not offical but a good guess would be 8 to 10 blocked shots 10 to 12 assists and 20 boards, all in 18 minutes. All the starters came out 2 minutes into the 3rd period. They could have came out earlier but my guess is Coach Holt wanted to give them a little extra time because of the game this Saturday against national power Western High from Louisville Ky. Loretto had great hustle and were great sports but were over matched with size and speed. Good luck to the Mustangs the rest of the way! :

I read alot of remarks about Giles County show boating. I have been to three games this year and I have not seen any player show boating! What I have seen is a team showing their talent! If an alley-oop or straight dunk is showing off to you, then you must not like watching talent. When a player like Tyler comes down the court on a fast break and dunks on a team, then on the next possession he pulls up for a three he is showing all that he is a very versitile player. I also read on here that they are a bunch of individuals and can not play as a team. How do you figure? Our best player is averaging 15 points a game and we are averaging 70+ ppg. They love the assist as much as scoring.And I can also tell you that these guys just like to hang out together, in school and away. I will have to agree with some about the sportsmanship thing, only not with the team. There are some on here who back G/C, that give off a bad light on the team and for that and that only I apologize. Good luck to all teams this season and Merry Christmas to all.
