If you guys win I will be pulling for in the semis, but gotta stick with the upper Cumberland in this one... No hard feelings And I was just told that Monterey would be losing a lot this year, or maybe I just misunderstood.

Back in the day Monterey posters would be live, but nothing much on the hill these days in the way if coacht posters. Monterey has a bunch of seniors and since they've lost to Clay County they have been on an absolute tear beating some decent teams by a lot of points like Jackson County and Gordonsville. I do, however, expect Copper Basin to pull out the win but I'll be pulling for Monterey. Im expecting this to be a very good ge and almost tempted to make the trip to see it.

Scoreboard says Monterey won 21-19. I figured it would be a close game, just not a lot of difference between Midway the bunch of A teams around here.

I still imagine that with Harper on the field TC still has a chance.

Good luck to Monterey. This should be a good game, Midway is a Watertown type if team if I had to compare them to any of the area teams.

That's a good win for JC. That's a tough place to play against a decent team.

I'm curios to see how RBS does since Coach White is no longer there. It's going to be strange not seeing him on the bench.

There is only 2 teams in the upper Cumberland that are good, by the standards of there classification, are LA and Trousdale County. Clay's qb wasn't there when JC played them either. I don't care much for comparing scores because some teams play better with certain teams than others teams. Watertown did beat Jackson County but they did just beat Eagleville who beat Watertown earlier in the year. I've seen Watertown, Jackson County, RBS, Gordonsville, Clay, and talked to different people who has seen Monterey play and honestly there isn't a whole lot of difference between all of them. There have been some lopsided scores, but if they matched up again then I believe they would be closer the 2nd time around. I haven't seen Marion play but have heard a whole lot about them and from what I've heard and from what I've seen from Jackson County this is not a good match up for JC. If Marion is the team I believe they are then I don't see JC scoring until Marion calls off the dogs. What I'm looking forward to seeing is what is Marion County going to do with Kenyan Harper. Besides the WR from Clay I haven't seen anyone nowhere near as talented as that young man.

JC isn't a bad team that seems just to have been up and down throughout the year. Marion is just on a different level though and should run away with this one. I would love to be wrong though...

It's going to be tough without a doubt, not just for us but for a lot of others also. It's not final yet and I hope it doesn't get through...

Don't sleep on RBS. We've gotta bunch of seniors playing, weak schedule may hurt though...

Basketball could get ugly this year, you guys should be loaded this year... I meant no disrespect I just say what I believe. The QB and WR will be a deadly combo with a spring and summer to get better. If the proposed regions go get passed then it looks like Clay and RBS will struggle to win games and get into the playoffs....

I thought the same thing. Pickett, Trousdale, Gordonsville, Clay, Monterey, and RBS should be our region.

Midway is a good team but they weren't 30 points better than we were by any means. The center came back in for us, losing Tirjin hurt big time because he's our best RB and one of the better players on defense. I expected SP to beat Clay by a lot more because they aren't that good of a team but I knew that the QB and WR were good enough on there own to be able to make it competitive. But congrats to SP on the win. I have the utmost respect for that program and wish you guys the best of luck the rest of the way out...

Would love to see JC win this game but I just don't see it happening...

We doubled the WR all night and the one time he did score the guy covering was out due to cramps. Also forced the QB out of the pocket and made him make some bad throws.

The WR is just a junior and is hard to cover. When Clay played us it was the QB's 2nd game. The QB was extremely raw who needed to work on some mechanics.

He was justified in being upset with the no call. That was the difference in turning the ball over on downs and a first down putting us in a position to score. In the situation we were in needing to score in the worst way I would have been just as upset. RBS had a lot of trouble it seemed getting in a rhythm. We were able to move the ball but would shoot ourselves in the foot when we got anything going. We only punted once and scored 8 points if that says anything. When #21(our best rb) got hurt it knocked the wind out of us, it was a knee injury. Our center went down but eventually went back in and our quarterback got hurt in the 4th quarter and was on the sideline. Had a couple of kids that sucked it up and played injured. I was told one boy had 3 broken ribs and had to take over rb duties when 21 went down and another young man had a lacerated spleen at the Clay game and was suppose to be out the rest of the season and he suited up tonight as well. Our field looked amazing tonight. The above paragraph is not an excuse because Midway flat out outplayed RBS. Croz you're justified by being upset at not being in this quad. Had Gville been in this quad, just from looking at some of the scores, would have had a shot at the semis coming out of quad 2.
