Exactly. Before match starts while teams are warming up. Weight order is determined, not actually wrestlers.

It might not work. Thinking out of the box. What are your reasons for it not working?

To clarify, order is set prior to beginning of match, like a batting order. Of weights, not specific wrestlers

So Cleveland is wrestling Wilson Central. Cleveland wins toss. Coach picks 285. Now Wilson Central turn to choose. He picks 180. And repeat..

Yes, I am suggesting a different way. Right now a class is drawn at random to start and then you just go in order starting at that class. So if one team is way ahead they may just forfeit out. Or you may have a great wrestler two away and down and someone loses before he gets his turn. By choosing who wrestles when, by round, a coach has to plan and decide go for points early or late. I think it makes it funner for wrestlers and fans.

Epiphany while watching TSSAA duals. Coin toss between coaches prior to match. Winner gets first choice of weight to wrestle and then alternate 'batting order' choice of when each weight class wrestles. Strategy.

I have a lot of friends in Warren County. Perhaps put a stipulation in contract that if coach leaves before 5 years he owes 20% of salary back for every year he leaves before 5 years and on 5th anniversary he gets a 20% raise...

Anytime more than half the teams in a league make the post-season, chances are high that some teams will have losing records. With 6 classes, each class other than 6A next year having 53-58 teams, with 32 making it, several losing teams should make it. About half of 6A will have losing records going into their automatic week 11 next year......

Riverdale's possible path to Cookeville: Smyrna (just played), Blackman (played early), Oakland (played 2 weeks ago), Maryville Do others wish you could see a different uniform early in the playoffs?

I have Cane Ridge in 2 and Station Camp in 3 (?) - I swapped Station Camp and Mt Juliet per someone's suggestion. I think Mt. Juliet played more .500 teams ?

After first and second, not sure TSSAA cares about region standings and definitely does not take head-to-head into account. Just wins, then games with .500 or better then wins over .500 or better teams....

Wilson Central had a chance to finish 5-5 but Gallatin came back against them. 7 teams are at 4-6 now for final spot. TSSAA updating their tie-breaker page so can't see if Southwind with win passed White Station for last spot. My bracket is an honest attempt to balance the regions as fairly as possible.
