I wouldn't bet on that Abe. Now that Unaka has got that loss to Cloudland out of their system , they can move on. It is very difficult for any team to beat the same team 3 times in a single season . The district game will be the best of the three. My Rangers got their win at home, and the Landers got their win at home. Now on a neutral court, Hopefully, with GOOD REFS, This will be the game to watch.

I think you may have read more into what I wrote than what was actually meant. One of Rusty's BEST Traits being a TEAM Leader and player that I have SEEN , and it Impresses me just as much as his play is the way he handles himself on the Floor when there is a bad call, or another player that looks like there might be some sort of "Problem" , "skirmish" , or something could get out of hand, Rusty IS the FIRST one and ONLY one that will run to that player and calm him down and get him out of that position. He will get him "out of harms way". That IS One of Rusty's BEST Qualities being a TEAM LEADER and Player.

I agree with coachken, My son played for You as well during that season, It was a TEAM EFFORT ! With Good Solid Coaching !! there is no TEAM , No where , in ANY sport that wins because of 1 Player . !! TEAMS win GAMES and CHAMPIONSHIPS !!

I think the Unaka boys will do good this year. They only lost 1 player from last year. And they have worked hard this year getting ready.

Also , I think , in another thread JustWatchin said that she was CoachTdog's wife, and CoachTDog is Rusty's Father, Soooo, you do the math...wouldn't that be the best source of info for such a statement.....I Think ...... YES !! I think they deserve these Hornors ! Donald,Johnny and Richard do a GREAT JOB with these young men !! WE are fortunate to have these men coaching our boys. Yep, RollTide, I was referring to the Unaka game. The Refs we had did do a better than average job . Pretty equal called game . and as for the Cloludland / UH game , your right, the first half was bad. And right again about Tolley, the refs took him outta the game before he got started. I just hope our game gets some good refs. The refs will be a factor tomorrow night.

I think you're mistaken about the feeder schools . Unaka has (2) Hunter and Unaka. Where are the other schools ? I'm Confused......?

With this game on a neutal court , and IF the Refs do as good a job as they did last night, THIS WILL BE THE BEST game of the year. Well Geek, To add to what the Creeker had to say....The smaller gym should have been another ADVANTAGE for you guys. like the Creeker said... they practice in there every day....so their used to the HEAT ....OUR RANGERS are the "UnderDog" in just about every game they play. And they come out FIGHTING Every game......So . for them to play the game they played against you guys.... I for ONE , think they done well... You GUYS might have looked like a bunch of GALS, but you played some good BBall... HAVE A GREAT DAY !!!!

JustWatchin,.... I am more than happy to eat that crow. Especially for Rusty's sake and the Rangers sake. Rusty has really proven himself this year as a "TEAM" player and Leader. I heard that he was going to be selected "Player of The Year " a few days ago.I was just waiting to see if someone was going to remind me of that statement. I would not have "just let it go" ,even if I hadn't been reminded. I will always "Give Credit , Where Credit is Due " And in this case , It IS Really DUE !! Rusty has done a great job this year on the floor. Whats his PPG ? about 25-28 ?? Rebounds, assists?? AND .... as YOU said.... without the help of Cody Collins, Josh Jones, Derek Cline , Chris "Norm" Arnold, and Daniel McInturff, he may not have got this Great "Honor" . Again, the Term "TEAMWORK" has come into play. And this TEAM has proven themselfs this year more than ever. (1) Senior, (4) Juniors, (4) Sophomors, and (4) Freshmen, THINK about what we've got to look forward to next year!! SO ....... This was a great game !! down to the wire.... and then OVERTIME !!!!! REFS....??? Best game I've seen called this year.....Both TEAMS played great ball....Rusty,Cody,Derek,Norm,Josh J, Congrats!!! Daniel,Thomas,Rusty,("Delbert") If not for your Help off the bench, It might have been a different story ....You guys steped up and really played ball..... Not to forget Cloudland....Robbie,Mark,Cole,Josh,and Stockton,,,, you guys played a great game also..you guys are a class act...

Well..... It will be one heck of a game...... As many have said, The matchups are close....The game will be a matter of who keeps their cool the longest..... The Refs WILL play a part in this game also. If We get Refs like we had at Cloudland's Gym and Johnson County's Gym , You could flip a coin. However..... If we get Good Refs... IT will be the best game of the year....and a close game 3-5 points either way....The Crowd will play a big part in the game also....Our boys Feed on The Crowds Reaction To The Action !!!!!! So lets go all.... Let'em know we're there !!!!

I have watched ALOT of bball in the last twenty years,,But this game was by far THE WORST CALLED GAME I HAVE EVER WATCHED !!!!! And as far as the outcome of the game.... Yes, Chambers,Jones and Collins would have made the difference in the game.. Normally I will not down the refs.... BUT ...This was a shame and disgrace to the officials. not to mention , stealing the Real Game that Could have been played. All the whistle blowing kept the boys aggravated the entire game not knowing what the refs were going to call. One minute on one end of the court the whistle would blow for hand checking,, the next minute , you could get buy with frailing someone on the same end... you just didn't know how to play. A very frustrating night for players and fans.... I just hope the Cloudland game has better officials..... Maybe we can get ole "Buzz" and "Sonny" to help out....... ha ha ha ha ha ha.....they couldn't be any worse ..... I don't think........???????

Well..I quess everyone has an OPINION .... However. Its just Yours..Cman..Looks like you're all alone with it too. You guys are talking about the Bradley kid being hard to handle ?? come on..... Unaka's Jones shut him down ,, and Cloudland's Tolley , done the same thing . Cloudland has an outstanding team of starters,,, but no bench..just too young right now, but they will come on with more experience. And UH, sorry guys but there no better,, not yet , that is...they just need more experence and more coaching. UH has two great guards in Tillman and Quick, and one other that is going to be good , I think his name is Quick also. On Unaka's bench... They have 10 guys they could start at any time,for any game they play. Plus they have 4 freshmen ,they could sub in at any time. Think about that Cloudland and UH. oh.. did I forget to mention they only have 1, countem only 1 Senior. wheres that put you guys next year and the year after... There Coaches are well tested and proven vets on the court also. and the fans,,,,, THERE THE BEST !!!!! We usually have as many or more fans at the games than the home teams...no matter where we play... That helps the boys and girls play better too.... What I would really like to see is some GOOD REFS !! That could call a game CONSISTENT and EQUAL. This would help the teams really show their Respective Colors. (enough said about that) Now,, Cman,, Thats MY Opinion.. Have A Great Day !!
