Unaka was playing with no emotion. They made several bone-head plays and he probably thought this might get them fired up. Despite the tantrum, he's really a good coach. And believe it or not, I've seen worse from other coaches.

Hey warrior, it's a little hard to "take care of business" when every time you looked at the other team they called a foul.. No one is making excuses, unaka had some out sick and they didn't bring their A game. I can only hope that the mighty warriors get the pleasure of playing Greene at their gym. Let's just see how well you can take care of business. But on another note, the boys did play thru it and still won, despite the valiant efforts of the refs.

I've been watching Unaka play North Green for 4 years and the refs have always been horrible. Not only are the calls bad but their blantantly obvious. They give a new meaning to the term "home court advantage".. I heard one of the fans say that Unaka wouldn't have to have dinner on the way home because they'd had all the HOMECOOKING THEY COULD STAND. If I were North Green, I'd be embarassed that every team they played felt that way. If that was the only way I could keep the game close, then I'd just stay at the house.... Greens principal probably wonders why the Unaka fans were so rowdy, well when your teams getting the shaft, you should expect that. The girls got screwed and so would have the boys if we had just laid down for them. When we took such a big lead, there really wasn't much the refs could do to keep them in the game, but boy did they give it the old college try. Gosh, one time I thought one of the refs was actually going to shoot the foul shot for one of the green boys. oh well another day another game.....

Kilt, we all know who The King is as well as Flossie and we all think he's full of bologna. Most of the posts on this board are made by adults and very few are made my players. When we read his stupid posts we just consider the source, shake our heads and move on to the next one. One of these days Flossie (aka The King) is going to let his mouth right a check his butt can't cover and it's gonna be Katie bar the door. All this smack talk he's putting on here may come back and bite him one day.

Well said krypt...I am a #1 Unaka fan and I agree with krypt 100%. They need to get their head out of their butts and play ball like they know how to. You guys looked like you hadn't seen a basketball the other night. Play with confidence, you've got the skills so use them. Eveyone player on that team needs to step up and play their best ball EVERY GAME!!!! So you lost to Happy Valley, big deal. Let that loss give you that much more incentive to win out the rest of the season. Let's go to Freedom Hall Friday and give the Hill a run for their money!!!!! GO RANGERS

Hey Flossie, it's GirlsLuvRuss (I think you confused her with Toys R Us) and she's anything but a lonely bachelorette. She's coming all the way in from Atlanta just to watch Unaka beat the living daylights out of Cloudland. Oh yeah, she's specially ordered a sleeveless shirt with Ranger Fan emblazoned on the front in glow in the dark letters just for YOU. Let's see how brave you are when you can tell her all this trash talk, face to face. Like one of the other posts said...Don't go into this battle of wits with her unarmed.......She's counting the days!!!!!!

Flossie, you're a mean spirited "poster". These are kids on here having FUN, well that was until you got on this board. Football is OVER, I repeat OVER. Move on. What do you mean "IF Robbie shows", he's either on the team or not. IF you're on the team you COME TO PRACTICE AND TO SCRIMMAGES, bottom line. It shouldn't be one of those deals that I'll come if I want to and the coach will let me play anyway because he has no discipline. If I were the other boys on that team I'd be more than a little ticked off. I'm sure they've been in the gym some this summer and have already started conditioning and practice... then strolls in Tolley in time for the season,,,,I DON"T THINK SO. Come on Birchfield, what kind of message are you sending the rest of the team???? Thoughts on this anyone???

I know Unaka is and I've heard their loaded. they lost 1 player last year.

Hey helmetheadcase... Now was that very nice dissin ole Flossie like that. His girlfriend plays on that team so therefore her brother plays on the boys team. I do have to agree with all the other post that Unaka will beat Cloudland, but by how much is yet to be known. You guys need to come to Johnson County Friday if you want to see a real team play.

Flossie, why on earth do you feel compelled to get on here and talk so much smack. You'd think a "guy your age" would have something better to do with his time than hang with a ball team. Let the cloudland and unaka rivalry alone. No doubt both teams have talent. there has to be a winner and a loser. Like hablo said, I'd be very careful what I said on here. It might just come back and bite you on the butt later on down the road. Most of these boys are friends, leave the crap off of here and let them play ball.

I"ve got to agree with Buzzcut. All Unaka needs is a little fine tuning and they'll do fine this year.
