  1. I am sorry, I did not try to upset or offend you. The C-range transfer is a lot different then the normal transfer. I agree with all you have said, just didn't understand the attitude. I understand your stance and appreciate it. A complete misunderstanding. Enjoy the season.
  2. Not that I care what you posted, responded because of you being misinformed. Would have responded the same to anyone not just you. Your posts don't sway one way or another, Read and move on, just didn't care for your response to being correctly informed. Usually if I am correctly informed I move on, apparently it must be boring over in your district.
  3. You should be used to being corrected. Assuming once again I have followed all your posts. Don't care that much for you. You could have made it simple by saying, "thanks, I have already been correctly informed". That would have been quicker than being a smart aleck. But I wouldn't expect anything less.
  4. Then why bring it up? Stupid response.
  5. Jackson County is always the team to beat, if they aren't then C-range is. You usually have to go through one of the two to get to the Gold ball.
  6. What transfers? You mean 8th graders choosing to go to C-range instead of York? Transfers are students who attend classes at a school then move to another school.
  7. Speaking of your post about why he didn't get Mr football nominations. The coaches let him stay in and he probably scored 12-15 td's against a running clock. They where more interested in getting him stats instead of votes.

  8. Should have never threw the ball that many times in this weather.
  9. Give ND defense credit, but seriously, throwing the ball 30 times in rain and cold. The ball moved when #2 was running. Poor play calling by Upperman (don't get me wrong, they are in the semi's). Ride the horse that got you here. ND clock management was terrible the last 6 min of the game. When they had the lead, they ran out of bounds and snapped the ball quick, when they were behind they took 40 seconds off clock each down. Great ballgame, not an offensive slugfest as expected.
  10. Wonder if that flies right over his head?
  11. It is definitely a shame he didn't get nominated. As I stated before, the running clock touchdowns and showboating after scores affected the voters. Teams he played against are some of the same people that vote. The coaches made a decision to run up his stats for Mr. Football and all the while they were losing votes for him by doing so. Hands down he should be a finalist, he means more to this team than anyone else does to their team. Coaches have egos, they don't mind losing to great players or teams, they just don't like getting their noses rubbed in it.
  12. Whatever happens, it will be a high scoring game. Could be the game of the week. Not a fan of either team but have seen Upperman several times, they can score some points. I expect ND to be more disciplined on defense. Tyner being so undisciplined on offense is why they scored so much against Upperman. They did a lot of reverse field runs that should never work, but did. I expect a good game.
  13. York has scored 10+ TDs while there was a running clock. They did so because his numbers were not meeting their goals with some of the other players getting his scores.
  14. I think if he wouldn't have played so much after the running clock, he definitely would have gotten more respect from the Upper Cumberland areas. You tick voters off, and they are the ones who see those stats.
  15. Most voters who watch high school football know who is special and who is not without stats. Most know that the great players don't play into the second half, so sometimes the stats cannot be the ruling factor. Connor has played in a lot more quarters than anyone else being mentioned for Mr. Football. He has scored at least 10 TD's after the running clock was applied. He is a very talented player, but everyone sees how bad they want it. They should do things the right way and it probably would come to them. Those 70 yard runs against 2nd team don't look good to opposing coaches.
  16. Who won the game? So much BS...but no score.
  17. But yet York scored his 6th TD in the 4th quarter...lol...those stats will not help with Mr. Football awards.
  18. They let it go...so did MTSU. TTU is about the right size for the amount of people that show up for the games. Crowds were real nice. Atmosphere was good. Less than 10 min from the stadium you can shop or eat at about any type of store or restaurant. Parking is always a negative no matter where it is. Nobody was rude like it was at MTSU, as if they were inconvienced to have to deal with people.
  19. York vs. Smith in the quarterfinals. York scores on fourth down play from about 50-60 yards away, then goes for 2-point conversion to win at Smith County. Don't quite remember every detail, but was great game.
  20. I wouldn't count LA out. They are getting it done, they got some pretty good skill players themselves.
  21. Agree with you on district teams not meeting till finals, Like basketball when you get so far in.
  22. Yeah, I remember when I was A Senior. We went 8-2, were co-champions of the District, and the tie-breaker put a 7-3 team in playoffs over us. Thats when only top two of district went. I like the fact that all good teams get in and some warm up games. No excuses when you get playoff opportunities. No one is at home saying if only we got in.
  23. You sound like you have been drinking too much of that sewer run-off water. You sure sound like a coach from livingston, maybe out of the curtis hayes litter. Gotta start somewhere I guess.
  24. My question is, have you had a winning season since? I believe that you guys let that one go to your head quite a bit! Since when is beating a team that is in a lower class, that you also think is an inferior team, and you also think is below average a measuring stick for your program. Keep those expectations high!! LOL It would be nice to have 9+ competent coaches to work your program, instead of 4 or less year in and year out. What York does with what they have to work with is impressive for both players and coaches. The nicest thing about York football is the field. The locker room is rundown, the weight room rundown, the stadium rundown, and the track rundown and nothing the coaches or players can do about any of it.
  25. Another uneducated poster that thinks they know all. York could possibly be better off. They can actually be able to run a program like it should be run without the interference of the "state policies". They have to go to state to do anything, they then have to get a committee together to vote on a committee to research the effects that the change could bear on the communities.....blah, blah, blah....by that time the deadline has run out and you have to start all over again...you get the point. I would guess that York going back to county would be a little revenge for the heat that the governor took over the old building and is starting to take over the stadium being condemned and fixing to have to be rebuilt. Nothing like revenge in politics.
