The Chester County/Lexington game had some fancy shooting last night. The first: Amelia Campbell (Lexington) banked in a running 3-pt shot from behind half-court to end the first quarter. The second: Bianca Thomas (Chester Co freshman) scrambling for a loose ball underneath CC's basket, gained possession and hit a bank shot...FROM HER KNEES...to end the 1st half!! Two very exciting shots. I've seen the long three, but never seen a knee-shot before- which is pretty hard for anybody to do. Anybody else seen any exciting shots this year?

Bianca Thomas of Chester County. Averaging I'd say around 18 ppg -neck and neck with Rowsey. Had 26 points first game of her high school career (this season) agaist Lewis Co.- 18 pts against Westview. Don't think she has scored less than 13 points in a game. Excellent body control. Her junior and senior years - WATCH OUT!

I DO NOT understand why players fall down on the floor so much! I hate to see players flopping to get a foul called. In fact, I have heard officials talk about how they despise players who flop, and have noticed refs not calling as much of that stuff. Guess they are wising up. I'm not as concerned about a player getting injured as I am that player has taking herself out of rebounding or the play itself. Sometimes you do get knocked down and get a legitimate foul called, and then on the other side, there are plenty of players (see them a lot) who are trying to get something for nothing. Stay off the floor on flops and the player will find she is even better than she thought...however, for some players, maybe they flop to APPEAR to be better than they are!

Rebecca Rowsey from Chester County. 6'3 with an incredible wing span. started looking again after Foster left Vandy. Narrowed schools to Stanford, Georgia, Ohio State (where Foster went) and Vandy. She will be a 3-4 player in college. can use right or left hand around the basket, dribble, and shoot the 3! and CAN RUN THE FLOOR!
