  1. I never said that CBHS or anyone else was scared to play RHS...I just said it didn't happen and that we wouldn't play (probably becuase of scheduling issues), but I know both schools are contemplating games for next year when they have openings in their schedules...as far as Cooley's knowledge of the game being sub-par...you have to be joking...you dont coach for 25 years and win a state chamionship and not know anything about the game and i mean if you come and see the facilities and the difference in RHS and CBHS there is no comparison...Cooley's job is 10 times harder than Locastro's b/c his team receives no funding, no alumni checks, no RECRUITING (and don't say they don't do it because I know for a fact there are a couple kids that went there who were at/supposed to go to Ridgeway), and just the kids' personal background that Cooley has to deal with...he is the only father figure many of those kids have and must balance helping kids with their personal life along with coaching the team...don't come on here running your mouth about a Coach you know nothing about.
  2. booster i wasn't at and never saw or talked anyhting ab the bolton which ones didn't play just wondering?
  3. we tried to play mus and cbhs but they wouldnt play us, south panola schedule is full and they wont play 2 games in the memphis area and white station wont play us b/c they dotn want to play a team they could meet in the playoffs...and if you root for w/e team plays against rhs....looks like your teams are doing a great job this year.
  4. Figured your stupid tail would be on here...so why dont u go ahead and tell us why rhs stinks or what team you support...then we can see who stinks moron. its actually pretty funny how your sole purpose on here is to bad mouth us...i guess thats all you have to do in your pathetic life.
  5. I don't know much about South Side, but I'm really hoping HC takes this one home...they are a great group of kids with an excellent fan base...it was great playing there last year...Good Luck to HC.
  6. CBHS takes this one...and it's not Park's fault the Owls are not as good as they were the past couple of years...he just has no support.
  7. This week, the Commercial Appeal has Ridgeway at teh to spot of its Dandy Dozen football poll. This is the highest ranking EVER for RHS whose previous highest ranking before 2006 was 4th (2002). Caongrats to the Ridgeway staff and players on this achievement, but we all knwo polls mean nothing and we still msut play the games as hard as ever because everyone will be lookign to knock RHS off. This is the poll: 1. Ridgeway (6-0) 2. ECS (7-0) 3. Melrose (6-1) 4. Germantown (5-1) 5. Olive Branch (5-1) 6. Covington (6-0) 7. Wooddale (6-0) 8. CBHS (5-2) 9. West Memphis (4-1) 10. White Station (6-0) 11. Marion (3-2) 12. Millington (6-1) Melrose was formerly the #1 team with Ridgeway 2nd, but two lackluster performances in back-to-back weeks by the Wildcats have dropped the down to #3. What are evryones thoughts on where these teams are situated? Personally, I like it just fine (though i am a bit biased ). I believe that White Station should be at least 6th or 7th, that OB should be ahead of Germantown (based on each team's performances against South Panola University), and that Melrose should not have dropped below ECS. Your thoughts?
  8. I think if they put 9 in the box they are still going to get beat with the run.
  9. Millington will never do that...i still dont think putting nine in will work all that wonderful because i mean you cant put all 9 on the side were running to and i believe we could still manage 3-4 yards every play so it ownt help, but if they decide to go with 9 in there and a RB breaks through...its lights out!
  10. i agree that ridgeway has not seen a running game the likes of millington all year, but i still do not think it will matter because Ridgeway always dominates wing-t teams as shown in their last few games against wing-t teams where those teams offenses have scored a grand total of 65 points in 10 games dating back to '02. I know many of the players that played in htese games are not around anymore, but the scheme still is and as long as the players stick to their assignments that dominant trend will continue this Friday. A lot of talk is about the Millington rush offense against the Ridgeway defense, but a bigger factor will be if Millington's defense can stop Ridgeway's offense, which many teams have not been able to do the last 2 years. If Millington wants to have a shot at winning this game, then they must play an outstanding game on both sides of the ball.
  11. i hope the game s injury free trader...i was just saying that when you come on here running your mouth like that a few people are going to take it personally and things happen...and Crawford and that defense are the last people you want to get riled up like that.
  12. Ridgeway will absolutely shut Millington down the exact same way they did TWICE last year when Millingotn's offense scored a grand total of 0 points. You have no idea what you have just done. I hope for Millington's sake that none of our players read this...better keep an ambulance on hand...
  13. kwc, jasper's miss was into about a 15 mph wind and came up a few yards short...Dasmine had I believe 6 or 7 tackles, but no sacks because Bartlett didn't hold the ball but for about 3-4 seconds before the qb got rid of it. By the way Crawford's stats are all in the first half and one play into the third when he tweaked his ankle and didn't play the rest fo the night...we are jsut hoping he'll be ready by friday
  14. I agree with you squad...but Houston will not even get close to beating wooddale.
  15. Crawford tweaked his ankle a little bit Friday night, but he will be ready for Friday...no way he will sit this one out.
  16. Anyone have any comments on this game? Should be the first true test for the Roadrunners as they face a talented Millington Trojans team. Anybody have an opinion?
  17. wow this game was incredibly lopsided tonight...what happened to whitehaven? did they jsut play horrible or is white station that good? kwc whats goin on?
  18. Jasper kicked a 47 yarder tonight. Came up just short on a 55 yarder. Now needs 1 more to tie the state career record, 2 to break it. What year is O'Connor?
  19. and he also could possibly be one of the best soccer players in the state too
  20. jasper could easily play any position on the field (he actually wouldn't be a bad qb/wr) as he is about 6'1" and runs a 4.5 forty, but he is such a weapon with that leg and ridgeway has good depth at wide-out so it would be absurd to use him liek that.
  21. 17 of 21 field goals; 53 of 55 extra points; 37.3 yard punting avg. longest field goal last season was 51 yards against wooddale in the first round of playoffs; also kicked a 49 yard field goal against ravenwood in the semis not sure what percentage of his kicks went in the endzone last year but this year it is over 90% already holds the shelby-metro record for most field goals in a career and several other records as well. only needs 3 more this season to break the state career record. josh has been kicking for ridgeway since he was a freshman. in his first game as a freshman, he kicked a field goal with 0.2 seconds left on the clock to beat briarcrest. this was to be the first year he would have the same deep snapper and holder as the previous year, but last years holder has been injured since summer and that has made a big difference for him.
  22. OMN i have a question for you....What's your favorite color?
