The TSSAA comment in Stefan's article is down right absurd. It is not possible to look at the video or pictures of that play and say that the call was anything but a complete fabrication. I've settled myself down since Saturday only to be full on red when somebody like BHS denies the truth. Now the TSSAA has me fit to be tied again

I've watched the replay on the running into the kicker - and it sounds like maybe you want to concede that was the right call - but it most certainly was the right call. So, what other calls do you think were missed in Maryville's favor?

I don't have even the least bit of doubt. There is no question that it was a legal play. #50's feet were on the 3 yard line when the ball left the passer's hands. Gary Darden saw Maryville take the lead & decided to fabricate a call in order to change that.

I don't expect BHS to come back in this thread and post. He's said some pretty outlandish things, and for the most part he's fun to banter with, but to come in here now and say that any ineligible Maryville players were downfield would just be delusional & a flat out lie

The penalty is not based on when the pass is caught, it's when the forward pass leaves the hand of the thrower (either way he wasn't past the 1 yard line when the pass was caught). Read the rule BHS. And it's plain as day that 16 is just standing still on about the 3-4 yard line. You're going to lose any credibility you had by denying those facts.

DE's are told they are offsides when the line judge drops his yellow flag "The eye in the sky is only lying to Maryville because they LOST" ??? You're avoiding the issue because for some reason you can't admit the truth

Thanks for your concern, but we'll continue to discuss the game until coacht shuts it down or we run out of things to say. Nobody is crying. Lives aren't ruined. And we've been very congratulatory towards WH.

Actually, I think you're right. The "crosses the neutral zone" language basically restates that the rule is in regards to forward passes, and has nothing to do with the determination of when you look at downfield blocking. My earlier posts are wrong. Of course, that just makes Gary Darden's call even worse. The applicable photo is the first one from my 3 pic post.

Wouldn't it be something if people who google'd Gary Darden Tennessee were directed to coacht? And while were at it, what about the white hat that mismanaged the game so incompetently? Or the side judge who I've heard backed up Gary Darden when he explained the call to our sideline?
