Are you proud that BGA made the playoffs one year with a 1-9 record??? With 11 teams in your class you were only 3 wins away from the state championship....what is the value in that? Yes WesVols it should. I am very concerned that someone who does Coach T games should render such a distasteful opinion. This is from a broadcaster who is supposed to be impartial about reporting the facts of the game. I am sorry Chip but you are dead wrong on the game issue with BGA. Yes lock the thread.

Does Crockett play anyone tough in their region or outside it?

Page is very young....will be tough later on. Bennett encourages parents to attend practice. They overhear things that should be left on the field. This staff is strong....players need to play, parents need to encourage and cheer and leave the rest to the coaches. That would be a good idea for all teams. Besides a few victories will make everyone happy....leave 'em alone.

These will be some bruisers.... I lwould like to see more of these kinds of match-ups across the state.

Any private big school in Mid-Tn. or 5a school in Mid-Tn. 4a is the weakest class overall ....come play a tough Middle Tenn. schedule week in and out . Sorry the proof is in the pudding.

How is Covington this year? How come there is such a dropoff on decent teams in each region after 2-3 teams. Is it lack of numbers? I am referring to 2a and 3a.

Wildcat fan, I think you should know that Page never backed down from anyone on their schedule. Last year 3a schedule 6th toughest in the state. TWO 5a schools and a 3a semi-finalist. We could not play you because of our regional games had to be set. I am not on here to make any excuses but your comments reek of private school elitistism. Perhaps a little anger management to go along with your arrogance.

Loudermilk/Loudermouth....PLEEEZE! This guy does not belong on the airwaves for anyone. He berates individuals on the the air ...which is never acceptable at the high school level. He berates officials on the air..a few years ago he went on and on about the officials costing the Brentwood team a playoff game by saying the Gallatin coach was telling the officials what to call. It is all right to be a "homer" when broadcasting for the home team but this guy is the worst ever. God forbid Brentwood goes thru a losing season..this guy will not be able to handle it. Sportsmanship and Loudermouth should never be spoken in the same sentence.

Fairview should win. Coach for Fairview is very good and smart. The smartest thing he did was to change the schedule. Last years' talent and lack of opponents showed the yellow jackets they could win which is how you build a program. BUT you don't play any other Williamson Co. teams!!! Your schedule strength??? Talk is cheap until you play and defeat some of the big boys!

Nail 'em Bobcats....it is interesting Lipscomb filmed the game...and they do not share game tapes with anyone.....is that a paradox?

Sycamore can't win outside of Montgomery Co. or Cheatham Co. Schedule outside region is always too soft...plus they have NO idea how to defend a wing-t. Their 5-5 record last year was very misleading condidering that 60plus blowout in the playoffs.

My hat is off to Centennial for their effort and the willingness to play tough teams.......this being said.. BA is still one of the best teams money buys every year.

Del Tavian: Did the Div -1 prospect at DE play for Grundy last night? Also, Grundy has a great team, coaches, and fans.....BUT if the officiating in your area is anything like last night...no one will ever come out of that region as Champs....they were lazy, out of position, lame, and a disgrace to officiating in general. Having been an official for years it perplexes me to no end how many officials show up at these games unprepared and it is not fair to the coaches and players. Ronnie Carter must be out of the loop on this. Also I have seen more officials in the last two years with "rabbit ears"....which means they "listen" too much to players or fans instead of taking care of business.

The problem here is the distorted view of high school sports being elevated to "BEYOND" sportsmanship to a level where its "OUR" OR "THEIR" responsibility gets twisted to thinking football or sports makes "TRASHING" your opponent somehow acceptable......PLLLEEEEZZEE. This is typical of thinking among some private schools (ie..Ezelll) that 70 -0 is fine and it was your fault. Try playing on 0-10 team or a team ravaged by injuries and getting stomped....somehow the thought process will not translate to "Wow" I sure hope that happens again next week or next year. Playing for the love of the game is what it is all about...not ego.

It would be interesting to see the penalties called in this game with an eastern crew working and a middle Tn. team playing.

The 3a champ will NOT come out of the east....no one plays a tough enough schedule to go that deep.....Who was the last 3a champ from the east or how many in the last 10 years???
