I just got onto the tssaa website and looked at all the scores as I do every week. I was very upset to see what Watertown did to Red Boiling Springs. I am a graduate of Macon County High in Lafayette, and RBS is one of our rival schools. And RBS football team has had a rough stretch and has lost several games. I think that what Watertown did was completely unecessary. RBS keep your heads up and keep playing hard, you're learning more than some players ever will. Go Tigers & Dawgs

Either way I still hope the Tigers get back on top.....Macon County really needs something positive right now especially those boys that have lost one of their teamates!

It's really wonderful to see everyone coming together at a time like this and bringing our prayers together. It's awesome to see posts on here from fans of other schools sending their prayers and thoughts out to everyone here in Macon County. We not only lost a fellow Tiger football player...we also lost a friend, classmate, a community gentleman, and also a fine respectable young man. My thoughts and prayers are with Jonathan...his family...friends...and also with the people of Macon County High School. Keep God close you're never guaranteed another second.

You know 71fan this kid is a jerk! Evidently he wasn't very good when he played since he has to get on here and talk on our thread. He must have gotten his bell rung by some Tigers and since he isn't playing anymore has to get on here and talk about us. As far as an 0-3 start...you better wake up little boy. You haven't beaten us in a while...and you wont beat us this year. And as far as tonight...you dont' stand a snowballs chance in you know where against Smith County tonight...they're a SUPER tough team and you will not beat them tonight. Smith County will easily wint the region this year...and LA will be back in the "Upperman Bowl" but that's probably ok with you since winning that is better than losing a playoff game. SO GO OWLS!!! Well ya'll.....it's Football Friday!! In about 8 or so hours the Jungle will be packed full of people and the Tigers and Panthers will take the field! I wish both teams good luck...maybe just a little more luck to my Tigers..lol. I hope all you Panther fans have a good and safe trip from P'town to the Jungle. Can't wait to see all of ya'll supporting your teams, it's sad to see the visitor sides almost empty at times. SO I'm looking foward to seeing all of ya'll! Be safe & Go Tigers!

You know I'm from Lafayette(Thank GOD!) and I get tired of seeing RBS getting killed all the time. I sure hope they can get a few wins this year. I know it has to be hard on the "Dawgs" when they get killed and have a 0-10 season. So this is coming from a Tiger...."GO DAWGS!!" Good Luck on your year this year....if you ever get a chance come see us play in the Jungle sometime! GO TIGERS~!

I also think this game could very possibly get ugly. Remember last year it also got pretty ugly. And PPride they wont let u stand in the endzone unless that's the only place left to stand. I am going against what all has been said about my Tigers and I will say Macon 24 Portland 21. We once again have a good kicker this year and the game is being played in the Jungle. So I will give my edge to the Tigers. As well as the Panthers we did not look good last Friday nite...therefore we will not want to look as bad. I think we will see two totally different teams this Friday night. I hope all of ya'll from Panther Country have a safe trip to the Jungle ya'll be careful and I will see you at the game! It's gonna be a VERY tough game for both teams. I will say Macon Co. by 3. The only deciding factor is that the game is being played in the Jungle...Macon fans will be out in full force to cheer on their Tigers as I am sure the Portland will pack their side of the stands too! I am going with Monroe Co....it's just hard to win over there in T'ville in any sport at all. They seem to be able to pay the refs really well. Although I will admit a TC win would be much better.

I was very impressed but Smith County last night. Although I'm a Tiger I still think SC has the region this year. I was as equally impressed by my boys in blue. Wilson Central is a VERY tough team. And as far as living in the past I'm not but our season last year was NOT a fluke! This year is gonna be a little tougher especially after watchin SC play....they were just awesome! Ok...is this just not the same ol song as last year? NOBODY gave Macon County a chance. But who was the champs last year? Maybe we wont be as good as last year...maybe we'll be better. But how can you count us out??? Coach Dyer is an awesome coach and just because we're young you think that's gonna be a valid excuse for the Tigers? NO it will not be. So here is my predicitions. 1) Smith County, 2) Macon County 3) Portland 4) Trousdale. And LA...another nobody bowl championship. So let's get buckle up and get ready for a good ride this year! I just wanted to say "WAY TO GO TIGERS!" we had an awesome season...and awesome fan support. Eventhough we lost I'm still proud of our boys,band and and cheerleaders for an awesome year. So Macon County hold your heads up high for this was the year of the TIGER! MACON MAGIC IS STILL HERE!!!!
