Kinsman pitched the first game and Lamb pitched the second.

Chapel Hill is a good young team. They have only 2 seniors and 2 juniors, the rest are sophmores and freshmen. They have a bright future if they work hard together.

MP's pitcher got hit hard. Not sure what grade he was in but he didn't last the game. Forrest did throw all freshmen, 3 in fact.

Daniel Albarran a sophomore from Forrest is a solid catcher.

The game played between Forrest and Marshall Co. was a good ball game. Forrest won straight up. It could have easily been the other way around, but it wasn't. Everyone loves to win but sometimes it doesn't work out that way. There is talent on both teams who have represented this county in baseball rather well and they have played with one another at different times during their young careers. Let us also not forget a lot of these young men are also friends.

Thanks for a great tournament, it was a lot of fun. Had the opportunity to see some of TN's great H.S. baseball players.

Forrest lost today. They were beat by Lawrence Co. by a score of 9-4. The Rockets play Hardin Co. at 4:30 tomorrow.

I believe Minor had 12 k's. Bo Cox with a homer. Andy Kinsman with couple hits including a homer. Daniel Albarran with 2 hits. Good solid baseball all around.

like others have said if the rockets can win out and also with a little outside help they can make the playoffs. lets hope it works out that way.

leather, its good that you root for your team but you need to look at some of the scores of those games. With a 3-4 record you shouldn't talk trash. Some of those games were blow-outs.

Forrest Middle School is having a great year. They have a very talented QB in Kristian Albarran and RB in Alex Ontiveros.
