  1. To be fair, that's not the case. At no point in the season has White Co or LA been better than JSS.
  2. go back and look at your post. You clearly meant the state. You can walk comments back and call names all you want, you're fooling no one.
  3. I think the ship is SS's to lose. Regardless of whether they play Upperman or Creekwood.
  4. Hit the brakes, Upperman may not make the ship.
  5. Hard to say. Teams have changed so much throughout the season. Example. I'd have Nov-January Loretto in the top 3. But I'd have Feb-March Loretto outside the top 15. 1. Webb 2. Bearden 3. Ensworth I think every other slot is up for a lot of debate.
  6. Man, SS had me doing more fistpumps than I've ever done for any team not named Loretto. Way to play with a ton of heart ladies!
  7. McKenzie by 11 WC by 13 JSS by 5 Creekwood by 3 Bearden by 16 Cookeville by 7
  8. my pick is wv by 17, but I'd put president's on wv by 10+.
  9. York had played a heck of a game against GP! Congrats on your Silver ball! Great year!
  10. lol.. Between you & LGB's sneaky modesty, I laugh everytime I see y'all post stuff like this. barring foul trouble, or Alcoa's best game of the year, y'all walk this game.
  11. they have one girl taller than anyone on Loretto, other than that, no.
  12. Summertown will still be strong even without Burdette.. I think we will surprise some people with how good we turn out. Karly is irreplaceable, but Ally will be much better next year. I also look for Laney, JB, and Cozart to be much improved as well. We also have Kensey & Laney's little sister coming up (she's pushing 6 ft if she's not already, the younger chance is even taller I believe, we get a super athletic Craig girl coming up, and Kensey and Laney's 1st cousins will be coming up (one of which is going to be a great PG). Couple those additions with some other Soph's that should take another step up and I think we're gonna be good to go. I'm not really sure what the rest of the District/Region loses/gains. How bout y'all? If WV can win this year, I think they have a great shot at repeating next year, barring no injuries.
  13. yep. We'd take them over what we have in southern middle tn thats for sure.
  14. no clue.. they weren't good, but werent bad either.. just one horrible momentum killing call, the rest was pretty even.
  15. If you train and pay them better, you should get better results. Take this real world example comparison: Company A: posts a job advertisement wanting a degree + 5 years experience, but having a pay range of $40k - $50k, along with a 1 week of OTJ training for systems/processes mastery. Company B: posts for the same type of job, with a few changes. They want either a degree, or 5 years experience. They have a pay range of $55k-$70k, and they have 1 week of classroom, followed by 3 weeks of OTJ training. Which company do you feel will have more applicants? Which company will have better prepared new hires (who will perform better)? Obviously company B is more invested and will get more openings filled with better results than company A. How do you hold High School refs accountable in 2022? Until the TSSAA makes changes, things will continue to get worse.
  16. CoachT Scoreboard has Bearden up 21-15 @ half.
  17. Fans and Parents are tough on refs. Always have been, always will be. Refs should be paid better, 100%. TSSAA makes enough $ to properly train & pay referees; however, that cuts into their monstrous profits, so they would rather have mostly shotty refs. I agree, people should keep their composure better at times, but sports is about competition, and to be super competitive comes with emotion. Refs realize that when they sign up. Regardless of how hard or stressful their job is, they're not allowed to let emotion or allegiances affect their decisions. I've coached, refereed, and been a fan, so I'm well aware of the stress & pressure, but that doesn't displace the fact that referees can't allow emotions to affect their decisions on the court.
  18. Congrats Karly Weathers! https://www.facebook.com/196005473768084/posts/4977933145575269/
