  1. Thanks 11, I couldn't find that post. i don't know why u guys keep getting my posts backwards. Maybe I need more concise sentence structure or something.
  2. I agree to a point, but they are not gonna win the state if they don't take some risks. He is a special player, but he'll need more help later on. They have a shot, if they stay focused and motivated.
  3. They got beat, but stayed in the game. This is water under the bridge or over the dam though. Who cares? What about the future.
  4. To make it better. It's probably not very feasible at this point, though you hardly live, if you don't take some risks.
  5. He is good coach in some ways. He takes some risks on 4th down. I like some things about his style. Believe me, it could be better though.
  6. Wouldn't it be somthing if they were playing for 3rd striaght state championship, similar to an Alcoa. Just think about it. Let it swirl around in your head a little bit. Can't we all do better and make each other better.
  7. MP could be like that that, if they used all there players the right way.
  8. Someone probably will if they keep this scheme and don't use their other weapons and believe me they have other weapons they aren't using. #30 could be an all state wide reciever. He is an all state DB. #88 could be like Kellen Winslow Sr. or Jr. at the single A level. Is he? NO. Why not? Lack of imagination throughout the season with the football team.
  9. Are you kidding me? with 6-5 230lbs TE with 4.7 speed catching screens, Having a Quarterback that could see to throw across the middle and Daily in the backfield. No to mention 4 or 5 wideouts with 4.7,4.6 speed that can catch the football. Not the mention, the way the defense has matured. Having Corlew and Daily in the secondary and at LBs. They would dominate with a scheme like JBs. It's a crying shame.
  10. I agree. MP has speed to burn too though. They don't use it right, but its all over the field.
  11. Yes, they do. SP is the clear favorite, but I wouldn't count out the West. MP has the talent.
  12. MP has the talent to beat SP, but I question the brain trust.
  13. He's not surprised, I think he knew they had ability. He knows they might win the state with this system. The scheme is very limited though in its scope. MP had way more talent than JBs both years and almost lost both of them. JCS outcoached MP last year, they didn't have better atheletes. They were more disciplined and took better angles to the ball.
  14. Cascade shouldn't have even been in the game, but they were there in 4th 28-21. Just because they played their hearts out.
  15. You're wrong. I picked MP to win. I knew they had Cascade outmatched, but I didn't want MP to know that. There's no comparison in athleticism. MP could have beaten Lewis Co., if they had the used the players right. There's not enough thinking outside the box.
  16. They do, but it could be much easier in my opinion w/ David Brown at QB. I understand why he does it so Marco can see plays open up quicker, but still they are wasting other possibilities. The defense is much better than last year and have improved throughout the season. The whole team can really hit you defensively. #4 really stuck some people against McEwen and nobody gave him any props. The MP backs, recievers, and line do a great job of blocking most of the time.
  17. It won't be enough later on in my opinion. Like this week probably shouldn't even be a close game, but it likely will be b/c of the system MP uses. I mean the have 6-5 230lbs college level tight end. Five or six guys that run 4.7 or better at reciever and don't use them. Houston, Corlew, Gilbreath, Stoops, McClenic, Clifton all have great speed and can catch the ball. Why does MP never use the screen, the dump pass, the slant??? The D has definitely gotten better with young fellas growing up. That 6-5 300lbs freshman w/speed he has scary potential to dominate.
  18. No grudge, buddy. I just know what I see. What you say is true they didn't have to use the passing game. But, if they did, then they could have scored every single time they touched the ball. Think how much easier it would be to score with 11 in the box. They probably could've had 5 guys open downfield. It's just silly. I hope they win the state, but it's gonna be hard to win it this way I think. Who knows? Maybe they are good enough to win with the run and the makeshift passing game.
  19. From what I heard, 3 or 4 good drives, but Cascade was lucky to score one when they had that 4th and 12 and an incompletion, but MP got called for a questionable penalty. The better team won, but I don't think they are using all their personnel to its full potential. Cascade had a good team, no doubt. They had some chances.
  20. Don't you think MP is wasting some talent w/this system they are using. I mean if they used some of those athletes in passing game, think how much easier it would be for them. Don't you agree 11? You saw them last night, they have atheletes to spare. #30, #88, #4. 6-5 305lbs freshman running around at DT.
  21. All eight Region Champions advanced in single A. All #1 seeds. How boring. no upsets.
  22. Jordan does not have better stats. Dailey's yards per carry is much better, plus he has 700yds passing and 9tds. Jordan has 150 more carries and only 700 more yards. I've seen both, Dailey is a much better football player. I think Jordan is a good kid too though and that should carry some weight. May the best man win.
  23. I hope both teams leave it all on the field and the team/players that want it the most win. Play hard for each other and don't have any regrets. when you don't give 100% in life you not only let yourself down, it hurts other people too. Don't get down if you make bad play, everyone does. Stay focused! Have fun and good luck! GO TIGERS! /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  24. This is was in response to Jamarcus Webster. NOT Marco Daily Again you got it wrong the above response was to Jamarcus. Go back and look at the post and sort it out in your brain. Sorry buddy. I wasn't on the 0-10 team. THANK GOD. I had already graduated the year before. My teammates must not have hated me too bad. They voted me MVP and I was not the best player. The other coaches must have thought was decent too as I made all region 6A and lead the team in tackles. I have both trophies, if you would like to seem them. As for your attack on my character. We'll see what I do with the rest of life, only time will tell if I really have any guts, determination, and character. I will always be ticked about football though b/c that team was better than 4-6. They just plain quit. 4-2 we that we started out and everybody was ticked off at coach Dugger. I will always feel guilty that we didn't do better. I should have stepped up more as a leader, but didn't know then what I know now. It was a mess. It wasn't all coach Dugger, it was the fact that the town had lost faith in him and it spread like a cancer to the team.
