Keep underestimating region 6.

If you were in Region 4,5,6,or 7, then you would be struggling for a playoff spot. You beat 1A cupcakes and couple of decent teams at the beginning. That is a great attitude to have. Fairview will be your biggest test b/c they must win out to make the playoffs, and all 6 of those losses came to teams that poised to make playoff runs, with the exception of Page maybe. Good luck to you, but I think you clueless about Fairview and will be until you play them.

We'll see how irrelevant it is/was after you play Fairview. They gave up 7 points to Lewis in the first half, and only 19 in the game. You gave up 28 in the first half. I think their defense is gonna rough you up and your defense is suspect, so I see them scoring a bit. They are better than East. Ah you'll have to see for yourself.

Sorry bud. I just left out the "East" b/c you had already played Hickman way back. I've been wrong before, but I think Fairview is your key game for getting in the playoffs. Fairview is MUCH better than that 1-6 record indicates losing 2 close games to solid 3A teams, a top 5 1A team, and three top 10 2A teams (DCA, Hickman, Lewis). That's the only point I was trying to make.

I disagree. I don't think they could lose to Hickman or even Richland, but I think a loss to Fairview is probable. I see Fairview winning the remaining three games and taking the last spot.

Fairview can and will compete with you. They will probably beat Harpeth. Very physical up front and have atheletes If Harpeth had played those first six games, then they would have been 0-6 too! Sorry, but Fairview is gonna challenge you for that last playoff spot.

Yeah, Bruceton has surprised me. That offensive line is probably blocking better now. I would put Bruceton in UCs spot now or at least back in the top 10. They have more than redeemed themselves after that thrashing by McKenzie. I posted that right after UC gave McKenzie all they wanted.

Forrest is not the 10th best team in the state, not even close. Top 25 maybe.

Don't make any noise? They were in the semis last year, as in 1 of 4 teams left! How is that not making noise! Outside of Friendship & Hampton, nobody else can say that, and MP has the same players w/ more exp. and some transfers and freshman are contributing. They were in quaterfinals two years in a row before that. The forecasts of MPs demise are greatly exaggerated. They have a strong passing game, good recievers, a good TE, a solid defense, and two weeks to heal up before catching a #4 seed in the first round.

They suprised me in semis last year too w/ MP. MP line was much bigger, but JCS defensive line DOMINATED. JCS plays w/ massive heart. Classy people too. I hope they win every game they play.

I agree it is very possible, but I think Marco will be too much for them. Also, the line and backs take great pride in blocking for him. MP has beat some good football teams over the past couple of years, more than Cascade. I think you are underestimating them. Anybody can have a close game. I agree w/everything you say, but I think would have still won without that two b/c the could have scored at the end of the game. The still had three timeouts, but killed clock on the last drive. It could have been 30-21. Good luck to cwood the rest of the way

yeah that region is BRUTAL. IF you don't destroy each other first the winner may take home the state championship.

Two good, tuff playoff football teams, back to back, and another one next week. No rest for the weary. Region 6 will be 1. MP 2. Collinwood 3. Wayne Co. 4. Moore Co. Cornersville might mess up 2-4 though.
