With Coach Chris back Northwest will be up to their standards.THE Beech QB THINKS Springfield and Clarksvegas are the teams to beat.(GALLATIN NEWSPAPER).The region can't be any closer than last year. It was made for the fans.

It's a shame Pat Dyer isn't still the head coach.I UNDERSTAND the Jr.Pro coaches had a great deal to do with Dyer's getting out.Macon has a long history of running good coaches out.I wish the present coach luck.

I got my book. In region 6-4A the coaches pick showed Springfield third. The report on Springfield said they were picked second.I wonder which one it was. I think they would be happy to finish with either one.

Who will be better Springfield or Mt.Juliet.It will be the second game of the year,at BOYCE SMITH FIELD.

Now that the dead time is coming.Who is doing the best to improve?

I heard the numbers were up.In fact I was told Portland had close to 100 players out during the spring.If that is the case,one should find eleven who will play the game. I hope the new staff does well.It will be hard to follow Coach Perry.

Springfield has the talent to win it.Do the players have the dedication?They had the talent last year.Clarksville, Mt.Juliet are the teams to beat.I have heard at Springfield,once your a senior,you thinkyou don't have to work any longer...If the season goes bad.The coaches are no good.

I watched the game.Indy is a good team.The Jackets have a great deal of work to do.28/14 1 vs 1's .Coach Smith is doing a good job.The support groups are the best.Pray for the Jackets.The Jacket's were out coached.

Both teams, I want to improve on last year.The Jackets were a disappointment.The HC's are old friends.It should be a good measuring stick for both teams.The season will not be made or lose from this,but the hype is like a regular season showdown.

14-0 Springfield.I heard both teams sluggest.I was told Springfield looked better than this time last year.Macon was missing key offensive players,because of baseball.Springfield qb,first day out.It reminds to be seen if Springfield is for real.

From the talk I'm hearing. Macon should be louded this year.Dyer being back can only help them.When do they scrimmage this spring.

Don't forget Alsup made the Murfreesboro Oakland program.I hope things turn around. 2P how many years have you been backing the program? You do love the program.I myself came of age in it.

Is Jonathan, the brother of Jason Hudson? He coached Middle School football there,and played there in the mid 90's. A prayer for the family will go out from my house.

Cupcake wins. Two points at the most over Springfield and Mt.Juliet. That doesn't sound to cupcake.Roger Perry is at Mt.Juliet now ,COULD be problems.Springfield is coached by former a Murfreesboro Oakland coach . He has put a bulls eye on this game.17 of 22 starters are returning for Springfield..They have dumped that offense ran against the Stars.They also have their starting QB BACK FROM THE YEAR BEFORE.I understand they finished the year, with what Alsup and Nolan taught him. I formation,run the ball.If you keep up with their team,they produce a team 2 of 5 years. This may be the time.I hope they bring a big crowd.

Coach Taylor was offered an administration job two years ago. He HAS children in ,or about to start college. I would say better money. He did as well as anyone could.

Go for Coach B. VERY deserving. Buck don't forget people in Jacketville who love you and your family.

Clarksville and Springfield have the most returning. Mt.Juliet have a good bunch also returning.The question of the region is two fold. Will the Jackets lay another October egg,and how long will it take Mt Juliet to get the Wing-T rolling.Clarksville will be waiting.

Who will be better Murfreesboro Oakland or Siegal. What did the Stars lose.

I wish the paper would go back to naming an all mid-state team for each class.If one remembers thats the way it was up until a few years ago. A DREAM team could be put together for the 22 best from all the classes. The Tennessean named the teams from each class,and the Banner for one team.

This is no rumor Coach Porter is worried that his OC will go to Portland. Now does he apply remains to be seen.As Lets has shown,Grantham has the experience needed to run a good program.Three good reasons he would consider this job. 1.Close to home. He wouldn't have to up root his family. 2. He stays in the county. This would give him a safety net. By keeping his tenure. 3. Good program , good school, same type of kid at BDP.

Springfield will be looking for two coaches.

This will be a tuff job for a few years. There are not many bodies in the next few senior classes.With Mt. Juliet going 5a,and if Station Camp doesn't move up.The Nashville schools could be put back into the region.This will cause money problems.Even without the Nashville schools, the region will be tuffer than this year.Clarkville and Springfield were very young this past year. Northwest will get better.Portland is a good school with great support.They will get a great amount of interest in the job. Who has applied ? The name I hear is the OC at White House .

Good players and best of all fine young men.Hope the teams will keep doing the good work in 06.Maybe SHS will join the list of region winners.

The head coach from Springfield is John Darden. He is a class act.There is a great deal of dislike between Greenbrier and Springfield in all sports. The action by the player was disrespectful,but I don't think the player realized that. The Bobcats have been a pain to the Jackets the last few years. I'm sure the Jackets were just happy to have the win.The Jacket Bobcat rivalry is much like Murfreesboro Oakland and Riverdale.It's been 13 years since I was part of that.I still can't call that team Murfreesboro.
