ccs lost 3-2 in the state yes.... but also beat the 1-0 in a nashville tournament. ccs girls had a lot of mistakes from a squad without much finals experience. both ccs' goalies played well esp. for their first year playing goalie for highschool. fra's 3rd goal could have gone both ways. the ball went off the top bar bounced down and hit the top bar again. supposedely it hit a part of the net but who really knows. the side ref was not on the endline and so he had a bad point of view and so did the mid ref. but oh well i still think CA is a good team just not a top 5 team.

congradulations FRA on the 3-2 win. Good job ccs on a wonderful season. too bad for the sketchy call of that third goal by FRA. We are sorry to see the seniors leave and good luck to both squads next year.

Saying all this...CA is literally a top 3 team in A/AA 825391174[/snapback] hmm that is saying that they are an elite team....

hmm a third place game..... i think that would help some people arguements. also that would help make better predictions before the final round games. i think that would be a good thing to consider for next year. good post mjuhb and good predictions to.

wow this is going to be a GREAT game. i said in another post that it would go to pk's. and i think i will still stand by that. both fra and ccs coasted in the state tournament. look for a well fought out game by both teams. everyone should go. the only big factor will be that the field will be in horrible condition but thankfully they play in the earlier game and will get the best condition of that day. good luck to both teams

ok u said go to nashville where they have a bunch of college fields where u play. that still has the factor of having more than one venue. also u are complaining about how the grass is mushy on the fan side.... yeah its mushy on the sidelines. it wasnt mushy on the actual field where the girls are actually playing. and yeah i said that finley and gps didnt have good fields. i agree with that they were very ###### poor.

wow...they can hang with them but until the beat a good team (congrats for beating DCA) then they cant be an elite in the a/aa.

anyways back to the queation.... i think that gps and dca are the two best teams that didnt make it to state. i do think that CA should have made it to state but it saved them the humiliation of losing to FRA by more than 3 goals. i think one of the biggest upsets of the state tourney so far was prob. USJ beating anderson county.

yes grace is an average team. they are not a well rounded team. they dont have both strong offense and defense. Also CA is def. not a top three team is A/AA. There is CCS, and FRA. Then there is Anderson County and CAK. There is also DCA who was upset by CAK. Yes i think that a team can have an off game (like anderson county losing to USJ) but i dont consider CA to be even a top 5 team. They lost to freaking grace. that shows that they arent even close to being top three cause CCS beat them like 5-1 and FRA beat them like 4-0. i definately agree that a/aa is a division where it just drops off after like the top 5 teams.

i think heather trimiew from ccs is one of the best soccer players in TN. She has really good stats for missing games thanks to sickness. Also she is a leader for the team. Also ccs if very dependant of heather and her ability to score. Without heather there would be a lot close games and you might be seeing ccs going into the state semi's with such an advantage.

i think it will be FRA vs. CCS. It will be a very close game. CCS has the momentum thanks to a 1-0 win vs. FRA this year (giving FRA their only loss). but of course FRA will be wanting revenge. I think at the end the score will be 2-2 and go into PK's. unfortunately ccs' goalies are inexperienced but i think that ccs will step up and win 4-3 in pk's

it is sort of sad that the venues were at three locations. But one of the locations had probably the best field in the state. especially considering the weather lately. If the state really wanted to they could have easily had all three tournaments at ccs. they have three fields. two of them are in really good shape. you could have put the three tournaments on two fields and just had more time slots for games. It used to be where all of the state games were played in finley. the problem though with that is that there isnt enough time to play every single game at one field. so i think it was a good choice to move it to other sites so that it wouldnt be so crammed.

yeah too bad everyone from chattanooga lost except for ccs. Hopefully CCS will make chattanooga proud and win state. I would like to commend grace and great effort against a very skilled FRA team. Also i would like to commend them for having the biggest supporting crowd so for in this tournament. You guys have a lot of team spirit. Congrats on a hard fought season. good luck next year grace!

Wow i definately will have to agree with you. It will probably be FRA vs. CCS in the state finals. Hopefully CCS can make up for the past and beat them in the finals. GO LADY CHARGERS!!!!!!!!!

do i even need to answer?.... most definately ccs. but it should be an interesting game. i am looking forward to seeing sweetwater for the first time this year.
