  1. I would like to say that I am not only proud of my boyz from the Nest, but I would also like to say that it has been an extreme pleasure to cheer for them this season. Never have I seen a group of guyz come together and accomplish things that never would have seemed possible. Congratulations seniors on a career well spent and to the rest of the team, good luck in the future. The Big Dawg
  2. I'm gonna' have to go with Wes Murray as the best in the state.
  3. Well I can promise that the Old School Ballaz are gonna' show up and are gonna' be krunk up in dat mugg! Get 'em Owls. The Big Dawg
  4. Last time I checked, Cleveland beat DA BEARS the last contest during the regular season and took our your precious Kellen Pickle. And last time I checked, the Owls lost to Cleveland on a missed buzzer beater in overtime that would have won the game. ANY TEAM CAN WIN ANY GAME ON ANY NIGHT. Pride goes before embarrassing destruction, so you better have your heads on right. Don't be cocky cuz the Owls will make you shove it back in your pipe and smoke it all the way home on the loser bus. The Big Dawg

  6. Temple will lose. CCS by no less than 10. The Big Dawg
  7. Ya know T97, I am about sick and tired of you being such a bearer of bad news. It's gettin' really obnoxious. I mean seriously, say something to brighten up our day for goodness sakes. Lie to us! The Big Dawg
  8. There's no reason not to have a shot clock. It makes the players play basketball. Anyone can stand there holding a ball and I don't want people busting their butts to have to play someone as flat-out ###### as a team that would just hold the ball for quarters at a time. Many of these players are gonna' play college and have a shot clock anyway. Might as well get 'em used to it. The Big Dawg
  9. I really don't want Kellen playing b/c that could hurt my Owls even more, however, I think it would be really stupid for him to play anyway. Why risk further injury to play in such a so-called "gimme" win anyway? Wait till substate. However, the Owls will work him along with the rest of the Bears. Still, Owls by 1. The Big Dawg
  10. The Old School Ballas (Ooltewah Owls fans) have shown a presence at every game save one. This includes trips to Loudon (hour to hour thirty away), to Rhea County (good hour to hour thirty away), Walker Valley, etc. and all around Chatt-town which could be anywhere from 15-45 minutes. The Big Dawg
  11. Cleveland beat Bradley by takin' the fight to them and not lettin' the Bears play their game. If Ooltewah attacks, forces the ball down the court, and stays in their face, anything is possible. Ooltewah has nothing else to prove or to lose. Big surprises are always around the corner. On a limb, Owls by 1. Heck, the worst I can be is wrong. The Big Dawg
  12. Anything can happen to any team on any given night. Bradley's been beaten before. There's a chance, however remote, of it happening again. Don't be cocky Bears, cuz them Ooltewah boyz are comin'. The Big Dawg
  13. Michael Newsome from Ooltewah. He guarded Jay Davis from Cleveland, Tim Cooper from Rhea, and Jujuan from McMinn, keeping all three of these high impact players to a minimum. Jay Davis only had 3 points on Newsome the whole night and Juju might have had 6-10 while he was guarded by Mike. He's about a dozen steals away from the 200 mark as well. The Big Dawg
  14. I was at that game, but these updates got me all tense again, lol. Preciate all the info T97. C ya Thursday. The Big Dawg
  15. Ooltewah had the chance to go up another 5-6 points in the end on free throws that were botched, allowing for more tension through the final seconds. Good defensive effort by the entire Owl's squad and by Matt Miller and Cortney White in the end (both having key actions that resulted in turnovers). Hope we clean some stuff up before Bradley on Thurs. The Big Dawg
  16. What does it matter if it was for district, region, or state? The Ooltewah fans stormed the court when Sherman Moton busted a last ditch effort shot that won the game against Central at the buzzer. That is the biggest rivalry Ooltewah has, between two of the better teams in that area. Am I mistaken to call Grace and Temple rivals? There is nothing wrong with storming the court...unless you lost and are searching for something to mouth about. The Big Dawg
  17. And When has Hamilton County School Board policy been right? I know all about that though. I didn't mean there wasn't REALLY a reason, just not a good one. The roads to Ooltewah are fine. It's I-75. The Big Dawg
  18. Hah...hah...real funny. Well considering the postponement of the game made me reschedule that date I was supposed to have tomorrow night, I guess you are right, lol. Thanks for stayin' on top of things SF, lol. The Big Dawg
  19. I don't know what you are talkin' about thorough...that's what i said, lol. The Big Dawg
  20. Well, considering Bradley absolutely killed Jujuan and McMinn (leading 60-14 at one time and finishing with a 50-60 point victory) they seem to have found their rhythm in spite of losing KP. It would not be enjoyable for this rhythm to take them through the region, and continue after KP returns. Could spell State title and I don't even go to Bradley. The Big Dawg
  21. Chris Baker is the new assistant coach at Ooltewah, coaching with his father, the Legendary Ron Baker. Chris Baker was a point-guard at UNC-Charlotte, where he was apparently a star. You can ask the Ooltewah team about his playing ability...apparently he can take all of em. However, he won't be able to take the Old School Ballaz of Ooltewah when the cheering section takes on the faculty and coaches on March 5, 2004 in the NEST. The Big Dawg
  22. I honestly do not think anyone can jump with Charles Little from Cleveland. Not anyone I have ever seen at the high school level. As a sophomore, he threw a ball off the top corner of the backboard and dunked it over the top of some of my poor Ooltewah brethren. I really don't care for Cleveland or Little, but the dude could be an animal. He can jump like one anyway. The Big Dawg
  23. This is so stupid. There is no reason they can't play tonight. But anyway, I guess I'll just sit at home tonight and prepare for some intense basketball tomorrow night. The Big Dawg
  24. Owls by 4. Basketballisbest...you are always supporting the Owls...but none of us can figure out who you are...maybe you'll come chill with the Old School Ballaz during the game against Brainerd...you're definitely welcome. The Big Dawg
  25. Before the last three games played by the Owls, Michael Newsome needed 34 steals to have over 650 points, over 200 rebounds, over 200 assists, and 200 steals. Those are impressive numbers showing the all-round game of this Academic-All American. The Big Dawg
